We were out-of-towners and an older married couple We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. Service was great, and the coctails were very good. There was a friendly vibe to the bar, and we felt at home amongst our people. The prices are high, but they serve good quality liquor and mixers. We would go back!
One of the premier LGBTQIA+-friendly/owned bars in the District and an excellent venue to partner with for any organized event. My organization and I recently hosted a professional networking event here. The Number Nine ownership and staff were all phenomenal from the initial planning and coordination phases all the way through implementation. Without their exemplary professionalism, hospitality, and service, our event would not have had the success that it did. We are truly grateful...

Outdoor seating is limited, and it can get packed, but definitely one of my favourite spots in town if you’re looking for more of the classier spot and not a dive bar.
