Restaurant was very nice for my wife's birthday with acknowledging it and bringing out a dessert at the end. Our server Caleb was energetic and hospitable the whole night and gave us several good recommendations. Will definitely be back when I'm in DC
Always an amazing experience and amazing set! Highly recommended going to this place for any occasion
Had a great birthday dinner at O-ku! The service was fantastic - helpful, friendly, and efficient. The food was fresh, well prepared and very interesting. Highly recommend and will be back regularly.
First time diners and we came to celebrate our anniversary. Melissa P was amazing, she gave great insight on menu items, food and drink. Overall a great experience. We will be back.
O-Ku is always excellent!! It is genuinely one of the best happy hours in the city. The sushi rolls and small plates were perfection.
Fave dish was the Yuzu roll, but can't go wrong with any roll! Service was good, but waited a while a few times.
Incredibly tasty dinner, our favourite dishes are the Uni and Tuna sashimi and the Salmon uzizukuri, the rock shrimp and the chicken yakatori! The lobster on the grill is also a major treat.
Recommend the Surf & Turf roll and Harvest Roll. Our waiter Zak went above and beyond. Clean and great ambiance. The cocktails didn’t seem to have any alcohol in them but I did appreciate the lemon/lime/cucumber water options.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. The server was attentive, the food was great and came out fast.
Nice atmosphere with good ambience and music with the ability to carry on conversations at thr sushi bar. Omakase included more of a tasting menu inclusive of both sushi/sashimi and non-fish items, but enjoyed the variety and creativity.

I was really looking forward to trying O-Ku in Union Market, but the experience fell short. The sushi rice was extremely hard and crunchy, almost like it had been sitting in the refrigerator overnight, which completely threw off the texture and flavor of the rolls. For a place with O-Ku’s reputation and price point, I expected much fresher, properly prepared rice. Hoping this was just an off night, but it definitely impacted the overall meal.

I went here late on a Tuesday when i was craving sushi and it did not disappoint. I got the yellowtail and sashimi and another roll that was like a crunchy tempura. I can’t remember the name I think it has fried salmon anywho it was DELICIOUS! It may have been the firecracker roll. Theyre drinks are pretty good too. Would recommend coming later in the evening when parking is better to grab

Peter was our waiter. He was absolutely fantastic! The food was quick and incredible quality. It may be pricey, but if you can afford it, totally worth it!
