I've ate at Ocean Prime multiple times and the experience here was good, but the steak was underwhelming. One person ordered A5 Waygu and another person ordered Australian Waygu and both were underwhelming. The apps were great and the sides were delicious, the steak just didn't measure up. We'll try again, but it just wasn't up to what we've experienced at other Ocean Prime locations.

We had the most amazing experience at Ocean Prime DC! Christopher, our waiter, was exceptional. Being that it was our first time, he took his time with us. He went over the menu and specials and everything he recommended was absolutely delicious! For our appetizer we had the calamari, jumbo lump crab, and surf and turf sushi roll For our entree we had the teriyaki salmon and lobster bisque with truffle fries and miso chili broccoli for sides. Since it was my husband's birthday, they gave him a complimentary dessert and champagne and he chose the butter cake. Truly, a great experience and definitely will be back again.
Went there to celebrate an anniversary and the staff was very attentive and our table was set with rose pedals and champagne. The food was delicious and the presentation was phenomenal. I would strongly recommend enjoying this fine establishment.

Ocean Prime DC is a 10/10. I celebrated my 30th with my fiance and it was his first experience eating there. From the food to the service - warm bread at the table immediatel, water already filled and at the table, the attentiveness by the staff even if it wasn't their table - we left blown away and cant wait to come back. Also, we got the filet and it was perfectly cooked medium and salted to perfection. thank you ocean prime for making my birthday amazing!

My daughter and son-in-law treated me for my birthday and what a treat it was! From the birthday champagne treat to the special popcorn to the dessert and all meals in between—nothing disappointed. The food was delicious. Filet mignon prepared to perfection. Lamb chops, braised beef, shrimp—all delicious. The sides; I could go on. My husband also enjoyed his meal. Our particular teenaged granddaughter loved her chicken tenders. Even our 2 year old granddaughter enjoyed her kids meal. Definitely will return. This was our first time but it won’t be our last. And last but not least—our server, Micaiah, was the best. Her recommendations were on point. Top notch and so professional!

A wonderful birthday dinner for two! Love the comfortable, warm atmosphere (once away from the bar area). Excellent meal, especially the 10 layer carrot cake. We started with a tasty Caesar salad and delicious white truffle caviar deviled eggs (a bit light on the caviar) and then moved on to the lobster linguine and the special of the day, halibut. All flavorful and presented well. Service was professional, friendly, personable and courteous. I'd go back for sure. I'm a Washingtonian by birth and am just sorry it took me so may years to try this gem of a restaurant!

Excellent service by Christopher. Cucumber gimlet very refreshing. Filets were slightly too salty but very choice cuts and excellent flavor other than the salt. Butter cake dessert was fabulous. We will be back!
