For me to give all 5 stars it has to be fantastic Ocean Prime Seafood is fantastic! The service, the ambiance and how about the food and dessert? Yummy! I had the Blackened Red Snapper, Warm Butter Cake for dessert, Berries & Bubbles cocktail & lime mojito (so good I forgot to take a pic).

Celebrated a special occasion at Oceans Prime in DC. The staff were attentive and the food was outstanding!
It's a beautiful elegant restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service exceptional.
I have been here a few times and each time it is wonderful. Great food, great service, great vibe. I was recently here with my wife when we were stranded by the Jan 26 blizzard and we had an amazing time.
If you're looking for a nice place with great food (and really good drinks) this is your place.

Ocean Prime in DC deserves a five star review for several reasons. The greeting and welcome at the door was genuine and lovely. The lighting was very good - soft and subtle, but not too dark. The professionals who took care of my husband and me at our table were wonderful. But Raphael, the lead of our table hosts, was truly extraordinary. Can't remember the last time I was at a restaurant with such an extraordinary waiter. Lovely, gracious, and knowledgeable - particularly about wine. Oh yeah - the food. Right. Need to talk that bit up. Holy Mary. Get the goat cheese ravioli if you want the best bit of food heaven in your mouth. Get the warm bread basket if you love bread. Get the loaded baked potato if you want leftovers for brunch for four. And get the 7oz. Waygu filet if you love yourself and life completely. Also hope you get a waiter as gracious, knowledgeable and lovely as Raphael. I'm sure the rest of the staff is just as wonderful as well.
Birthday dinner for my husband. Really enjoyed ambiance + service very friendly. Already thinking of opportunity to return! Definitely worth it.
Came for restaurant week...food was awesome! Our server, Sam, was great! Very charismatic! Ask for him when you go...he will make sure you have a great time!

Ocean Prime is amazing. Their fish and seafood dishes are better than the steak .
The food was great. Service was horrible we waited entirely too long for our 3 course meal. Arrived at 1pm didn't get our appetizer until 1:30 pm.

Disappointing ending to a reflective MLK Day We frequent the Ocean Prime Fort Lauderdale often and raving about its overall menu, ambience and dining experience I suggested we try the DC location. Sadly mistaken, staff was inattentive, a bug landed in my water and the waiter announced it as if there was a “clean up on aisle 9.” We started off with a bread basket, calamari and the goat cheese ravioli. No one offered us the truffle popcorn which is always a fun starter. The calamari, drowned in some teriyaki sauce and a pile of shredded veggies had us immediately concerned on whether we were at P.F Changs or a fine dining restaurant. Having ordered Wagyu from Westholme as recently as New Years Day we are familiar with the quality, melt in your mouth buttered deliciousness expected. The 7 oz wagyu filet we received was a glorified piece of meat from Outback or Longhorn-tough, chewy and we should have sent it back. The lobster mac & cheese was flavorless-the poached lobster just thrown on top and noticeably cold. Ocean Prime DC may need rebranding because what we received certainly was NOT prime!
I come here probably 8-10 times a year for biz lunches. Quality of the food has been declining steadily for the last couple of years while prices have been increasing. Service is attentive and courteous as usual, but I will probably begin looking for a new regular lunch venue for business.
Excellent food and drinks. Very impressive and expensive. Definitely will be going again. Hit the happy hour if you want to save money. Reservations need for dinner bit has a large bar area.

Service was poor. We waited almost 25 minutes for two drinks and it wasn't its usual attentive staff. Disappointing as food was great. We will be back but hope it was just a one off experience as previously it was much better.
Tianna was great! Friendly, professional and knowledgeable of the menu items. She's a great asset to the restaurant.
