I took my mom to Ocean Prime DC to celebrate her 62nd birthday, and it was unforgettable. A week later, she's still talking about the amazing food and exceptional service. We started with the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake, Point Judith Calamari, and warm bread basket—all fantastic. Have been to several so thought this was a pretty good choice. In fact it was not. Service was so sparse. For having two people supposedly working with us they check ins were rare. First time in a long time I didn't tip a minimal of 20%. Food was okay. Did not live up to Denver. Which was the last place we visited. Just sub par compared to what we are used to.

Service was impeccable as always. Raphael and the staff at Ocean Prime never disappoint me or our family. It's always a great atmosphere. The food was delectable. thanks to Raphael for introducing us to the Ravioli. An unknown appetizer.
