Drinks were extremely well made. We loved the cocktail offerings and enjoyed each we were served. Bartenders were great and attentive. We did not have a full meal but we will be back and plan to eat more next time!

Unfortunately, this hotel bar has gone downhill. Service did not seem to care that appetizers were not prepared correctly and the drinks were sickly syrupy sweet. By the time they remade the drink, I’d finished my appetizer . To add insult to injury, the decor is very dated, cobwebs in the window, and some of the fabric on the booth pillows are worn. Sadly disappointed as we had high expectations.

great atmosphere but the food is severely lacking. Don’t recommend the mushroom pizza nor the fries. Would recommend the Nest at the Willard or many other cocktail bars over this. Will not return and don’t recommend.

Excellent service: quick, quiet and responsive. Beautiful decor and pleasant atmosphere. It was busy, but I did get a seat at the bar within a few minutes. It is expensive (around $30 for a cocktail) but so is everything in DC and at least this was worth the money. The drinks were quite strong. I appreciated the complementary hors d’oeuvres.
Impeccable vibes. The basement, speakeasy feeling cocktail lounge is just so good. The theme here is political cartoons. The cocktails are pricey but delicious and every table comes with a little dish of olives, wasabi peas, and nuts. Not suitable if you have an airborne nut allergy. They dont take reservations so you have to be willing to wait if need-be, but its worth it.
