The look of the place has gone down over the years as well as the taste of the food. The burger I had was a bit flavorless and the Ollie famous fries did not have the seasoning that I grew to love.

Filthy old joint, nasty restrooms, not the friendliest service, somewhat expensive. The burger was thick and juicy, the fries were greasy, the rest was okay.

Tasty food, although expensive for simple burgers and fries. Restaurant is somewhat disassembled at this point (antiques were auctioned off in December), and decor is dingy and worn. OPEN light is not on, presumably because it's been sold. I sort of wonder whether a few employees found some keys and are sneaking in to cook for cash while supplies remain and the new landlord hasn't chained the place shut.

Ollie's Trolley is NOT Closed. It is OPEN at its current location in Hotel Harrington until March 2024. Then it will be moving to an address unknown as of 1/3/2024. I live in the Adirondacks in upstate NY now but stop into Ollie's several times a year when I'm in the DC region. Their Veggie Burgers & fries are my favorite spice delivery food of choice since I returned to being a vegetarian in 2006. We all used to love the hamburgers. Love the kitschy-ness of the current place & will look forward to an updated store after the move. I miss some of the staff that had to be laid off during the pandemic but understand the pressures all restaurants are still going through. I will be back! Please patronize them whenever you can!

They take cash, Zelle or Apple Cash now. The price is a bit steep for what you’re actually getting. The burger was mediocre at best for the price (43.33 for two burgers, fries and drinks) the fries tasted like old grease. I would have used salt or pepper but instead of shakers they had old styrofoam cups with tape for a lid so unsure where all the money is going too. Might get a better meal/deal at McDonalds.

Ollie's Trolley is still open for business, I just had a super delicious medium rare bacon cheeseburger and the most tasty fresh cut fries on December 27th, 2023 today! Service was great as well, but they don't accept credit cards, but have a ATM!

Been coming here since my first job, 43 years ago! First location was in VA :). Love coming here when I’m in town. Best spice!!

The guy taking our order clearly didn’t want to be there. Milkshake machine was down. Food was fast for it to be made with fresh ingredients. No kid sized burger. Approximately $20 for a burger with fries. Prices online are our

This place is terrible. The total for 2 burgers 2 fries and a drink was almost $40, which happens to be cash only. Thankfully they have an ATM to charge an additional $1.50. The entire restaurant smelled like a dumpster. We should have guessed it was going to be complete trash due to the totally empty restaurant with a giant “no refunds” sign at the register. I wouldn’t even consider using this place as a bathroom it was so filthy. The burgers were undercooked and the fries were cold and stale. We left after two bites fearing food poisoning and hit the five guys down the road. Do not step foot in this dying excuse of a restaurant.

Burgers are thick and juicy and served with big smiles. Although the food is good, even better are the selection of retro toys for the kids to play with. Kids can go nuts playing while the adults can sit, relax and enjoy the huge hamburgers. Staff loves to join the children in their play making if the most fun atmosphere of anywhere in D.C.Kid-friendliness: This restaurant caters to children with the vast selection of toys for them to play with. Like spending a day at Disney World. An unforgettable life-changing experinece.

We were in DC for the pro Israel rally. We came in to use the bathroom. We wanted purchase drinks of water in order to be a customer being that we are kosher and couldn’t eat the food. They are the nicest people who gave us the water. When we tried to pay they said , “No. it’s the least we can do!” Thank you It’s nice to experience when good trumps evil.

Ollie’s has been a staple for us over the years. I honestly can’t even remember when we started going here - it just seems like we always have. Anytime we find ourselves in DC for a Caps game or play, we always stop by Ollie’s. Unfortunately, it sounds like this location is closing in December and we are truly sad to say goodbye to our tradition of grabbing a meal here. While the decor and restaurant itself was quite kitschy and outdated, the food was always incredible.I really hope this restaurant finds a new home in the area.

I don’t see how the 5 star reviews can be real people. This is very rundown; it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned or repaired in years. Food was so so but not bad. Feels very

This place doesn’t look like much, but the food and service are great! The burger and fries were awesome. This is a great little stop and so much better and cheaper than many “cool” DC places.
