I love places like this. Simple, nothing fancy. Extensive menu with reasonable price.

I really enjoyed it — it was comfortable and satisfying for me. Service and atmosphere might not match everyone else’s expectations, but I personally loved the location, the humble and kind people, the reasonable prices, and the tasty food I had.
I’m not saying this is a fine-dining spot or that you’ll find fancy decorations here. It’s simple. But it’s definitely a place to consider when you’re hungry and want delicious Chinese food made by humble people in a modest, welcoming setting.

Eaten here twice. For inexpensive takeout Asian food, it is fantastic
This place is so lowkey and different compared to typical overrated overpriced dc sushi. It’s family run and I think I heard workers say they’ve been open for like 30 years. It’s Asian cuisine including Japanese cuisine like sushi. they also Chinese cuisine. value and quality for the price is insanely good. Love it here. Please go!!
Good Chinese food with big portions. Price a little expensive but it’s worth it.

One of the best takeaway Chinese I’ve had in DC. Pork dumplings were fantastic and similar to AJs in Rockville, chili pepper pork was good and Thai basil fried rice was delicious but ask them to remove the tomatoes unless they’re in season, eggfoo young was good too.
Good sushi! Great BOGO deals on DoorDash. I’ll order again soon.
My Southeast Asian friends and I stayed at a nearby hotel and had such a wonderful time dining here. The food was delicious, and all the staff were so nice and friendly. Thank you for being a place we’ll always remember, not just for the great food, but for the friendship and memories we shared here.

I finally stopped in today after walking by this restaurant for years. I ordered the hot and sour soup and the chicken pad Thai. The soup was quite good. Good strong flavors and contrast between the sour and heat (and there was definitely heat). Instead of the wood ear mushroom, they have regular button mushroom. There were hardly any bamboo shoots. The taste makes up for the lack of ingredients. The pad Thai is passable for a Chinese restaurant offering Thai food, but it was definitely for home cooking not restaurant level dining. There were no fresh green onions and bean sprouts which is standard. The portion was ok for the cost. I don’t know if this is austerity or inflation pricing. Overall, this place is just a little below average for this first impression.

The food is always great! The service is slow and Togo orders always take longer than they say. Go for the great food but be patient they are slow

Ordered sushi rolls and vegetable dumplings. They had a BOGO special on the salmon & avocado rolls & the spicy salmon rolls. Food was ready in a reasonable amount of time. Service was very friendly and efficient. My child really enjoyed the vegetables. Definitely would come back again!

A friend and I enjoyed a quick Japanese lunch here. My lunch special of two selected sushi rolls: spicy Salmon and spicy Yellowtail, plus an unexpectedly large salad, was perfectly made and delicious. My friend enjoyed her lunch special of Miso soup plus 2 pieces each of four types of fish sashimi. Her plate was artfully decorated with a slice of lemon carved into a unique shape. Definitely a place to return to for an Asian lunch in Foggy Bottom.
