We ordered dinners for delivery. Food was "just warm" and they failed to pack 2 of the 3 orders of potato salad and another side. Wr called to ask them to send the missing items or refund the money. Spoke to "the owner" who acknowledged they didn't send the items BUT refused to send another delivery or refund any money. Customer service is just as important as the quality of food. This owner's attitude lost his business 3 customers. Continue disregarding your mistakes and that "3" will multiply.

Georgia Avenue location is terrible food served in the plastic containers. It was Sunday and nothing on the brunch menu was available. I was told I couldnāt buy bottomless mimosas because there were no champagne although the waiter was kind, he seemed overly occupied to the point I had to go to the register to pay for my meal, mind you there was including my party, maybe three other guests parties in the restaurant. So it didnāt seem overwhelming. It just seemed as if the workers were uninvested. Food was below par. Iāve been eating here for years, and this experience is nothing like Iāve ever had before to the point I had to write a review.

Love this spot if you wanna know what eating soul food in DC is like come here ! , I usually get Carlton and he always provides professional excellent service. As for the food I got the catfish Mac & cheese with greens, surprisingly the greens stood out to me and was my favorite portion of the meal.

Super sad Iāve enjoy this place literally spent 100 for 3 meals rice was hard as peanut brittle my gravy was missing and everything else was cold what a waste called to complain put on long hold grub hub refund me 3$ wow and the fried whiting is salty has to be a new cook I canāt believe this Iām super disappointed

When I dont feel like cooking on Sundays, Ill call and get a delivery for their ribs, which by the way is very good and sometimes a hit/miss. Sunday, I ordered a dinner with 2 extra sides, strawberry cake (BOMB by the way) and two of these crab ball things which were good as well and a Pepsi and a strawberry lemonade, so when my ordered arrived can I tell you my dinner was supposed to come with 2 sides, it only had one. I ordered 2 additional sides and that was not in my bag. And I guess the shift manager saw what I had ordered, proceeded to tell me he couldn't have the rest of my things delivered had the whole nerve to tell me I had to come and get it!! So now Im trying to make it make sense right now because now it defeats the purpose of the delivery, you think. I was told I was going to get my refund, havent seen it yet.... So now I have to go to the store just to get my refund!!!

I hate that this place has fallen off so badly. Last few times I ordered through Uber Eats. They forget the extra lemon pepper that I pay extra for each and every time. This time, I called to remind the restaurant to remember to include it. When they forgot again, I called the restaurant and experienced extremely rude customer service from āJadeā. She hung up while I was speaking (calmly) twice. And instead of me matching her rudeness, I decided to write a review. I hope they get better service soon, because itās not worth the price.

I ordered catering for Thanksgiving this year. Everything was amazing! I canāt wait to order catering again. Pick up went smoothly. Staff took the time to make sure my order was right before giving it to me and everyone was so friendly and helpful. They even offered to carry my items to my car. Wonderful food and service!
