As a Sicilian who grew up cooking (and eating!) incredible Italian food, I can be a pretty tough critic. That said, this place definitely impressed me. The fresh pasta is absolutely amazing - you can really taste the quality and care that goes into making it.
The presentation is top notch, and every dish looks as good as it tastes. The service is also so on point - attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish.
My only small critique is that the serving size is a bit on the small side for the price. Still, the overall experience makes up for it. And honestly, you can’t beat the atmosphere - everyone loves sitting by the water and enjoying the view.
Great food, beautiful presentation, excellent service, and a fantastic setting. I’d definitely come back!

It was my first brunch times. Food is delicious as usual. The pancakes are huge and fluffy.

I celebrated my birthday dinner at Osteria Morini, and it was a great experience from start to finish.
The food was delicious and the ambience was inviting – perfect for a relaxed celebration. We had beautiful views of the harbor, which added to the night, and excellent service that made us feel well taken care of.
Overall, it was a wonderful spot for a special occasion. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for good food and a peaceful atmosphere.

Chef's Dinner for our silent auction donation to Special Olympics DC was stupendous! Food, service, drinks all 5/5. Very loud family sitting near us with small kids was distracting the ambience, but what can you do!? Not much. Great time, thank you so much!

Very good experience. Had to wait on a table for our Valentine’s reservation but a gentleman was very accommodating and made sure we had some drinks ready at the table as an apology.
Food was delicious, great staff. Will come back!

Osteria Morini is great, the overall atmosphere is nice and is also a great place for drinks in the summer. Outside of happy hour and their Monday deals, this place is pricey for what it is. The appetizers were my favorite part, the focaccia, Brussel sprouts and zucchini outshined the pasta! (As pictured)

My friend and I stopped by for brunch during DC restaurant week. We had a lovely three-course meal with massive portions for the RW price. My favorite item of the meal was the blueberry lemoncello pancakes. The place had a lovely, warm atmosphere with lots of natural light and pretty orange glass around columns throughout the space. I hope to come back in the spring when it's warm enough to sit outside by the water!

We ate there during Restaurant Week and I had the salmon with black lentils as my main course. It was delicious but I took some home to save room for the wonderful panne cotta. I froze it since I was going out of town. Just had it for lunch today and it tasted even better. I won't wait for restaurant week to go back!

They got lots of appetizers so we actually went here for a happy hour. The staff was very accommodating and the smoked old fashioned was great.

I had a fantastic dinner at Osteria Morini! The atmosphere was great, and our server, Alfonzo, provided excellent service throughout the evening.
We started with some drinks—the Sfumato Old Fashioned and Cosmo Ausano were both expertly crafted. For the main course, the Gramigna and Cappelletti were highlights; the pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked.
To top it all off, the Tiramisu was amazing—definitely don't skip dessert here! It’s a perfect spot for a nice night out in DC. I highly recommend it if you're in the Navy Yard area.

If I could give 1,000 stars I would! I went for dinner by myself on Christmas Eve at 4:30, so I’d get a nice view of the sunset. When booking the reservation I asked if I could be by a window or somewhere cozy and they sat me at the most wonderful table. The sunset was stunning and was paired with the amazing service and phenomenal food (I don’t use that word often to describe food, but it truly was phenomenal). I didn’t order an appetizer because I knew I wouldn’t have room for my dinner lol, so for my dinner I got the rigatoni that came in a wild mushroom ragu, rosemary, and parmigiano. The rigatoni was cooked to an absolutely perfect Al dente (just how I like it). I also ordered a side of grilled chicken breast and it was deliciously seasoned and so juicy. If it weren’t embarrassing, I would’ve picked up the plate and licked it! The hostess was such a sweetheart and both managers, Chris and Daniel, checked in on how I was enjoying my dinner. They were super nice. My server, William, was very nice and was so helpful when figuring out what I wanted. The staff was so kind to top off my dinner with a complementary scoop of their house-made raspberry sorbet. The Navy Yard Ballpark Metro is also a short walk so that was super convenient! If you’re coming to DC or live there I highly recommend making a reservation!
