Osteria Mozza delivers Italian food with some flair. I had the fish skewer and it was good. The appetizers were yummy and the wine selection was honestly good. I did not try the pasta, which looked a little bit rich to me visually but my friends said they liked it - a grand space in the heart of Georgetown-recommended

Excellent dining experience. The focaccia with prosciutto and cheese was warm, crisp, and perfectly balanced between salty and creamy. The arancini were golden, with a rich, cheesy center and just the right texture. The oxtail ragú was outstanding—tender meat in a deep, flavorful sauce that felt both rustic and refined. The staff surprised us with complimentary glasses of champagne for our three-year anniversary, which made the evening feel personal and memorable. I have no idea how they managed to ruin Italian food like this. Very disappointing experience, definitely not worth the price.

This place has been on my list sinxe they opened and it was, by far, one of the BEST meals I have had in a long time. My friends brought me here for my birthday dinner and it did not disappoint. I don’t usually write reviews, but our experience was quite disappointing. We arrived at 4:45 PM and were told, in a rather rude tone, to come back at 5:00 PM, even though we only wanted to confirm our reservation and take a short walk. When we returned, we still had to wait several minutes before being seated. Once seated, we politely asked to move to a more comfortable table instead of one right by the walkway. At that point, the hostess, Diana, spoke to us very rudely and unprofessionally. It was an unpleasant way to start the meal. The food didn’t make up for it either — the pasta alla carbonara was overly salty and nearly inedible. The only thing we enjoyed was the toast with sauces. Overall, very disappointing experience.

Watched the hostess give our table to another party twice. Told 15 minutes (via text) which turned into 45 minutes. The portions were sparse, the cocktails were weak, and they kept messing up the water (sparkling vs still). Desserts were good. Its unfortunate because the place looks great.
