Oxford Cafe is a breakfast joint that does the jobI was on my way to the office and I was looking a spot for a quick grab sandwich breakfast. Then, I found Oxford Cafe with no detour needed and no lines despite being peak hours for breakfast on Monday. They have a Panini, Sandwich, Wraps and Salads menu on top but next to the counter on the right side there is a breakfast menu. I ordered a Ham, Egg and Cheese Sandwich with white bread and a Drip Coffee.Sandwich Appearance was great. I liked what I saw. The texture was as expected, the egg not too dry a good amount and ham and not a lot of cheese, which I liked. Sometimes too much cheese could be overwhelming. The price I think is unbeatable. Being from Miami, I do not find these spots anywhere and of course prices could be easily 50% higher to say the least. I spent ~$10 USD including tip. This is an spot that I might by in the future if the context of my visit I described is the same.

0 stars if I could. I am traveling from nyc and as a woman it is so hard to be able take a bathroom stop. I had to badly use the bathroom. I kindly asked the man behind the register if I could use the bathroom. He lied and stated the bathroom was out of order. I pleaded with him and even offered to make a purchase. He refused. Very sad that they make business from tourists, yet they refuse to give a lending hand to a woman in need of a restroom.

Great food and a couple that runs this cafe. They deliver quickly and the prices are very reasonable. I recommend this store.

Came in for lunch today. I had a Reuben sandwich, which was very good. Fresh and not overloaded with sauce. The sandwich plus a bottled lemonade and tip ended up at $13, which is pretty good for downtown DC. Inside is cozy and was not very busy at 1pm on Thursday. I will definitely come back for lunch in the future to try other sandwiches and bagels.

The staff was rude, I couldn't immediately understand the payment system, I asked twice where to sign after payment, he looked silently and then chose the size of the tip for himself, and did everything silently, it's unacceptable. He saw that we were tourists. If you're annoyed by your work and you can't work as people, find another job. People go to you in the morning for breakfast, it's disgusting to start the day like this.

Great Mom and Pop sandwich shop in downtown DC. Very good sandwiches that were served up quickly. Also offered lots of fresh fruit options and f sh baked goods.

Friendly and fast, no idea how the sandwiches are made so well so quickly by just one person. Plus they have cut fruit and hard boiled eggs in the mornings.
