I come here every morning at 5:45 am to do work for my job. ALL the employees are super kind and friendly. They all recognize me. This morning one of the managers came up to me as I was at the self-ordering kiosk and cancelled my order and asked me what I wanted. I said "but I haven't paid yet," and she said "I know" and smiled. She made me a free cafe latte! That's a perfect example of what a great place this is. :)

Much improved here from Manager Gigles; except the customers around me at times have no life to speak of so they act weird.

I would like to say THANK YOU to Tracey who was able to deal with my craziness for ordering food for my job. She is absolutely the best, took my order on short notice, I called back about 3 times to cancel then I want to keep the order... It was totally madness but she was still able to be professional, give excellent service, kind, and laugh because she has such a good sense of humor, She has become my go to person @ Panera Bread... This is a great place to visit
I love go to Panera to work and drink Caramel Latte. I like this coffe and the muffins are very good too. Is an amazing place to work, the music is always a good mood. The security guy is very friendly always saying hello and being nice protecting the place from crazy people!! Such an amazing person! Thanks Panera for the nice place to spend good.time (:

The food is good; the coffee is good (free refill); the atmosphere is good; the security is good (there's always a security guy keeping watch over the restaurant); and the customer service is great! The best part is that they open late - till 10pm, while the most of the places close at 9pm. This 1 hour makes this restaurant really convenient and more favorable than other cafes and restaurants around the Columbia Heights Metro.
