Great the first time I went. Tried to go back with my wife for happy hour and there was just one apartment employee sitting at the bar. I asked if they were open (everything on the Internet said they should be) and he just said no rudely. Waste of a trip. Unclear why they would sit there, not serve customers, and be rude and not explain when someone tries to patronize them.

Best French restaurant in DC. The prices are spot on for the food, and to be honest the quality is higher. The service and staff are beyond incredible and accommodating.Get the crab fries. Next time I’m doing the seafood tower too. I didn’t take photos of everything, but it was all fantastic. The deviled eggs, yum! Crunchy, full of flavor, and one order is not enough and the bacon was perfectly crispy and not too salty on it.I was set on the short ribs, because French food is all about the sauce and proper temperatures, but I went for the burger. I was not disappointed. It was a smash style burger and cooked perfect. The dressing on it and pickles balanced it nicely. My friend did the cobb salad with salmon. We both had two glasses of wine, and the house wines are actually good here. I can't believe I'm typing that, but they did a great job selecting them. Skip the trendy French bistros and restaurants and head to Parlour Victoria. You won't be disappointed.Came back two weeks later and it is still amazing. Love this place.

Cold vibes from the bartender. I sat down and wasn’t even greeted. Was there for about 10 min and not even a menu offered so I left.

The place is gorgeous. The cocktails were fantastic with a nice variety of wines, whiskey, and all the other fun stuff on the menu. They were, however, out of several things. The food was nice- if/when I got it. My appetizer didn’t come out until well after I had finished my entree and my entree had, I counted, 4 whole gnocchi. Without the gnocchi the whole thing seemed kind of soupy. Maybe it was supposed to be soupy though- idk. The fish itself was nice. The place is woefully understaffed. No host at the door and no one watching it besides a very busy bartender (not her job to watch it) as everything, except the bar, was upstairs. Saw a couple wait like 15 mins before the bartender finally took them to a table herself. Saw someone else wait a long time to be taken to a table- even with a reservation. Someone came down looking for a manager as they had not been helped in like 20 mins at the table. The staff all seemed to be doing their best in what looked like a uphill battle.

The sweet potato biscuits are amazing! My family and I went for brunch and the peach cobbler french toast was also delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, with prompt service. We will be back!

Fried chicken, crab cakes, and flat iron steak - all perfect. However, we understand this is the restaurant's last week :( See you at your Baltimore venues, and sorry DC loses you!

My group of four had a very good meal at Parlour Victoria. The building is beautiful and makes for very nice surroundings. I struggled a bit finding a glass of red wine at the bar before our reservation time. The glass list was very short and overpriced, but after consulting the bartender, he poured me a nice glass of the Portuguese house red, which was not on the list. Dining room was not crowded at 7:30. Enjoyed the 70s background music. Between the four of us, we sampled the gumbo, fried oysters, Caesar salad, crab cakes and lobster rolls. All delicious and relatively large portions. Lobster could have used a tiny bit of seasoning. The restaurant may want to cut down the prodigious servings of fries with the sandwiches, as everyone was too full to consider dessert. Service was attentive and friendly.

If I could leave 10 stars I would. Everything was absolutely amazing. Can't really say what was my favorite because everything was so good! Amongst my favorites were definitely the biscuits, grilled and fried oysters, deviled eggs, the fried lobster tail, and the shrimp and grits. At some point I can imagine that you won't be able to get in this place. I'm glad we did!

I took my teenage boys here on our last night in DC during spring break. The staff is absolutely wonderful, so friendly, kind, fun, energetic, and genuine. The food is completely amazing and all three of us loved everything we ate (scallops, filet, chicken) but it was very much the staff that made the experience so enjoyable. Highly recommended. Beautiful restaurant.

The entire experience was wonderful. Lauren the manager there was so on top of things and such a lovely person. Waitress was so sweet and quick with everything. The food was spectacular and the ambiance was excellent. Highly recommend to everyone.

The food is excellent, but the staffing could use a lot of help. This place was great when it opened a year ago, but seems to be having some major issues now. The upstairs is always “hosting a private event” when I’m pretty sure the reality is they do not have the staff to open it, even when downstairs is packed. The staff that is there can many times be heard, openly, complaining about their jobs, managers, company, etc. It kind of makes for an uncomfortable experience. There have been times where service has been exemplary but others where it’s unfriendly or nonexistent. I want to like this place because it’s right next to where I live and the parent company usually puts out a quality product but I’m losing faith.

We went on a Thuesday night and had a mostly good meal. The appetizers and entrees were very good. I had the Moule Frites appetizer as a main, and it was a very generous serving. The crab soup was delicious with a bit of a spicy kick. The service was attentive but not intrusive. My only complaint was the dessert. I ordered the Moon Pie which was supposed to have a chocolate sponge. Perhaps I didn't dig into the disk far enough, but it was a rock hard and exceedingly dry, and I never got to any cake. There were also extremely sour blueberries as a garnish that detracted even more from the dessert. It was definitely not worth $17.

Amazing experience and atmosphere! We had a quick little getaway in DC and decided to duck out for a quiet dinner at this great spot near our hotel. My teenage sons were very impressed with the service and how they were treated, and they even got to meet the executive chef. We enjoyed the Grand Seafood Tower, the Chesapeake Crab Dip, and some caviar (their first time). The staff made my son's birthday more memorable with an amazing pumpkin spice dessert and we all enjoyed it, along with some other desserts as well. We don't live far and will definitely be back!

The staff were outstanding and knowledgeable. The drinks and food were delicious. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night. Parlour Victoria is the perfect place for a fish/seafood lover. We cannot wait to return and try more amazing dishes!
