“I had the Arancini, gnocchi sardi, and olive oil cake and they were all fantastic. And while I came for food, I will say the two things I'll remember the most were 1. The fact you gave postcard with the receipt as a souvenir and one less thing I'd have to buy on my trip and 2. The service was amazing. I forget what her name is now, but my waitress came over and cleaned off the table of the two or three crumbs of truffle I had and got me new silverware for the second course. I can't think of any other restaurant I've been to where I've had service that attentive before.“

Cucina Al Volo's Union Market location falls short of its brick-and-mortar counterpart in Adams Morgan, but it still offers quality food. The lamb pasta, especially, is recommended. What sets it apart is the option to customize your protein, sauces, and pasta, allowing for a personalized dining experience. While it may not fully match the AdMo experience, it's still a solid choice for a satisfying meal.“

“Vocellis is always and consistently great, the pizza is fast and very high quality, the brief experiences with the employees at this location have always been very nice and considerate, leading to quick and convenient ordering. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone local or visiting. Hopefully this place is here for the long run!“

“New Mosaic location just opened and it’s great. The pizza is fantastic, actually cooked with some nice crisp and char like the northern pizza snob in me likes. I also had a chicken parm sub that was fantastic. Haven’t tried the cold subs yet but there’s always tomorrow hah. The location is great on the bend of District Ave looking out down the street and they smartly installed a retractable front wall that can be opened for open air on nice days/evenings (or if Covid decides to play some more games here in the future). Also some select patio seating which is nice as well!“
