Atrocious service. Not just disinterested, actively rude. Have been twice, and the treats are good, but not as good as the price point would suggest. Recommend going to one of the many other lovely bakeries or cafes in the area. The rude service here is so off putting. Doesn't put one in a mood for a nice coffee or treat.

Isaiah and the whole staff are so nice. The pastries were top. Espresso and steamed milk were perfectly executed.

I’m sure this is a nice little cafe most of the time but both of their employees denied me the $5 price for adding soup to *any sandwich* as the sign clearly stated even after I brought it up. Insisted it was only for certain sandwiches. Strange.

Had a light breakfast and coffee here on Saturday and Sunday of this past Veteran's Day Weekend. We sat outside in the nice weather on Saturday. The fruit cup was fair, the cranberry muffin excellent, and the parfait was above average. Coffee was good and strong.

The $4.99 morning coffee and croissant special is a really good deal. The croissant was freshly baked and the coffee good and strong. Small cafe with a large selection of pastries. Conveniently located near the Farragut North Metro.

Paul has a nice assortment of French pastry, plus made to order breakfast items ( we had egg and cheese in croissant ). Very good Illy coffee. We had tried other quick breakfast places in the Farragut North area, this was the best.

Great for to-go orders, not so much for a place to work.Pros: friendly staff, tasty foodCons: no power outlets, wifi doesn't work, coffee (decaf americano) is just ok

I think my expectations were too high. I would say they are somewhere just a bit better than a Panera. I only tried the cappuccino, chocolate croissant, and cheese Danish. Cappuccino was too much milk to espresso ratio, but not a bad drink by any means. The chocolate croissant was dense compared to most French baked goods, and the flavor was more processed than I anticipated. Cheese danish had a similar structure, but a slightly better flavor. I'll still try them for lunch at some point, but I will be sticking with Tatte or La Colombe for my coffee and baked goods.

$8 medium, mediocre coffee - however, if you prefer a fancy ambience, totally an option. Bought a decaf oat milk latte and the consistency felt almost a little gritty while the flavor was a tad bitter. Might have tossed if it hadn't served as my stand-in breakfast. Also, I'm not sure if it was just me, but their 'Paul Guest' Wifi did not work, had to resort to my hotspot. Shout-out to their employees, though, wonderful customer service!

I consider myself somewhat of a croque madame connoisseur. My wife is a travel nurse, and wherever she goes she seeks out the best French cafe. If croque madame is on the menu, I order it. This is by far the cheesiest, butteriest croque madame I've ever had! Absolutely recommend you get your coffee black to cut through it all! Definitely recommend.

This shop looks like the real deal! Unfortunately I didn't get anything to eat because I had a large meal prior, but I did have an espresso. They have a large assortment of croissants, pastries and sandwiches set up in the glass case, much like you'll see in Paris. They also had croque-monsieur, for those who don't know, it is the French version of a grilled cheese, but it has cheese on top of the sandwich and a variety of cheeses like Brie inside. The espresso I had was good. It had a roasted flavor and not at all bitter, which I actually look for in an espresso. The employee behind the register was nice and the dining area was very spacious. I'm coming back and will definitely try the food! -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

Between medical appointments I took my wife to have breakfast. My wife ordered eggs Benedict w/avocado. The avocado wasn’t ripe. In fact it was hard and tough. Inedible. Sorry to report this. I do love the pastries, but will never again order something more complex, like Eggs Benedict chez Paul, Again… pity. Feeling disappointed

I thought PAUL was a European only place til I moved to dc and it still gives me those vibes, except with american efficiency.Plus, I think PAUL has the best black coffee in the city. And the pasties are all ::chefs kiss:: but don’t miss the Gourmandise or if you like citrus, the citrus tart.
