2 pastries and 2 drinks was almost 40 dollars. I just don’t think its worth it.

Service was great and didn't take too long with our orders. The staff was really patient with us picking our food. It was somewhat busy so we took a minute to find a spot. They have seats outside as well but it was too cold. Here's what we got there: * Chocolate Moelleux Cake - we loved it! On their website, they describe it as French version of a brownie. Spot on. This what I would expect it to taste like. It's not as sweet as an American brownie because of dark chocolate. * Napoleon - we've tried napoleon before but this one was different. The pastry wasn't as flaky, but that's not a bad thing. Custard was not too sweet, which balanced out well with the glaze on top.

Food is amazing. Staff is vile rude. In addition to myself, witnessed several customers receive the same wicked attitude including one customer who clearly did not speak fluent English. Do better.

I like the variety of pastries available. We ended up trying the strawberry chantilly croissant. It was fine - with fresh strawberries; the chantilly cream seems to be lacking in vanilla and sweetness. Very unusual for me as I like my desserts not sweet. The mocha is absolutely my favorite drink.

The mocha was simply delicious. Loved it. Good taste of the chocolate and coffee. Nice balance. The strawberry Chantilly croissant was just as good. Flaky and buttery. The cream and strawberries are perfect. Service was fast and the barista friendly.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent visit to Paul’s on 13th & K St.On March 20th, at 12:27 PM, I placed an order online. After waiting for 25 minutes without any update, I approached the cashier to inquire about my order. Unfortunately, instead of addressing my concerns, the cashier seemed dismissive and uncommunicative. Despite requesting my name, she walked away without providing any information or reassurance. To add to my dissatisfaction, although I ordered an iced latte with whipped cream, the drink I received was missing the whipped cream, despite being charged for it. Additionally, the overall handling of the order was rushed and careless, as everything was hastily thrown into a bag and handed to me at 12:53 PM.As a customer, I expect a certain level of service and attention to detail, especially considering the price I paid, which amounted to almost $40 for breakfast. It was disheartening to feel overlooked and to be treated as if I were inconveniencing the staff by simply seeking information about my order.I believe in the quality of this establishment and have always enjoyed dining at Paul’s, but this experience has left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. I hope management will take my feedback into consideration and address the issues to ensure that other customers do not encounter similar experiences in the future.

It was a very shocking sight for me, who lives in Paris, but the taste wasn't bad. I went around 3pm, and the second shock was that almost all of the popular menu items were sold out. It seems that French bakeries in the U.S. need a lot of improvement, to the point where I am grateful to live in Paris for this quality and this price. Still, by American standards, it’s a sick bed!

I tried 2 times on 2 different days and both times they didn’t say that they didn’t have something til I tried to order it. They have their menus on TVs so they could put up“out of stock”. They were out of“made to order salad” both times.

One of the best places to grab a quick breakfast if you want quiet in the morning or a fast lunch during the day. And yes this is the same Paul bakery you’ll find in Paris. My favorite was the blueberry tart but they stopped making it a few years back, but I still love the prosciutto sandwiches. This morning I had a sausage, egg and cheese croissant and my friend had the ham and cheese one. We finished with pistachio and raspberry macaroons. It’s a great place for a quick bite to eat, and quiet first thing in the morning.
