Peacock Cafe is my favorite Georgetown lunch spot. The owners are a class act and their entire team is very professional and kind. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is beautiful!

Didn’t realize there was an unspoken dress code requirement here. I would not recommend this restaurant for tourists purely based on the environment- however the food was delicious and well priced.
We walked in and asked for a table and were told the wait for a table would be over an hour. However, we noticed there were lots of empty tables. We were seated at the bar with other casually dressed patrons. Our bartender was welcoming and very knowledgeable. I watched and there were multiple empty tables our entire meal, making me question the wait time the host gave us.
If there is a dress code, I wish the restaurant would simply be upfront- there are many other places in the area who would welcome paying customers, where I would rather spend my money.

I had a great experience at Peacock Café in DC! The food was super tasty and everything felt fresh and well-prepared. The service was also really friendly and attentive, which made the whole meal even better. It’s a cozy spot with a nice vibe—definitely a place I’d come back to!

Highly Recommended! Food and service were excellent. The bruschetta was the best we ever had. Our server Melike was wonderful, very efficient and friendly.
Now I want to talk about how thoughtfull one of the Managers Hussain is. I have an 88 yr old mother with a walker. I had forgotten to ask about handicap access and went to the wrong door. Hussain hurried outside to help and he was absolutely wonderful and very gentle with her. She and were truly touched with empathetic and kind he was.

Food is phenomenal and service is great!! Highly recommend. Only thing is I wish their meats were halal/kosher for more options.
The food was excellent and our server was polite and professional. The Sancerre was perfectly chilled and delicious.
Amazing complementary birthday dessert for my daughter. It was amazing! We also had a very nice outdoor seating.
Felt warmly greeted by so many staff! Well taken care of. Food outstanding and loved the decor. Menu had great selections. Highly recommend!
