Hot chocolate was so cold. When I asked to warm it up they add more milk. It did taste like milk not hot chocolate

I’m giving two stars because I liked the coffee; however, the customer service was terrible from the moment we arrived. When we entered, I asked my niece to order the coffees and gave her the money. We were attended by a person named MERRI, who from the moment we arrived was looking at us in a very unfriendly way. Her attitude was very curt and cold, which is simply rude.

After receiving our coffees, we sat down. Later, we asked for the PIN to use the restroom, and we were asked to show the receipt. It was very clear that MERRI had attended us and had seen us from the beginning, and yet she still asked for the ticket in order to allow us to enter. Very poor behavior. After a while, another staff member finally gave us the PIN so we could use the restroom.

I’m leaving this review because the manager or owners should be aware that their staff needs more humility and much better customer service. Tourists and visitors deserve to be treated with respect and kindness, especially when they are paying customers who are consuming at the café. ⭐

I love Peet’s Coffee! Whenever I come to the city, I often stop by this location. Kudos to Ms. Mary, the barista, who always makes every guest feel special.

Nice coffee shop. The staff was friendly however forgot my drip coffee. When my girlfriend got her drink I had to wait longer just to find out the counter girl forgot to hand it to me. She was very apologetic and helped me without hesitation.

Great coffee, friendly staff, and comfortable seating! We spent one of the best hours of our DC trip here. The only downside — please add a changing area in the restroom!

The food and drinks are very delicious. The only inconvenience that I had was the manager (Andrew), he treated us a little rude just for ask him to make our drinks extra hot (even when we asked for it when we ordered by the app). Also, he didn’t want to tell me the pin code for the restroom, just because I didn’t make my order there, and he said that he couldn’t do that cause the pin code was different for everyone and it would appear on my ticket (obviously it didn’t)… So, I lined up outside the restroom and waited for the person inside to come out.

Worst Peet’s Experience to Date !!!!!
My husband and I visited Peet’s around 7 a.m. today, and I ordered a vanilla latte. It seemed popular, with several similar orders, so I had to check with an employee whether the drink she’d just made was mine. Unlike Starbucks, Peet’s doesn’t label drinks or call out customer names, which already causes confusion during busy times.

When I politely asked if the drink was mine, the FEMALE EMPLOYEE SHOUTED AT ME!!!. This was completely uncalled for and made what should have been a pleasant morning coffee run unnecessarily unpleasant. I paid for a quality drink and a welcoming experience—not to be treated rudely. Unfortunately, both the coffee and the service left a bad taste.
