This Peet’s Coffee is a nice spot with a super friendly cashier who always makes your day better. It can get busy, especially in the mornings, and the tables are usually full of people working or studying. Still, the coffee is great, and the positive vibe keeps it worth coming back to.

Very friendly staff. Wasn’t busy around the time that I went so I was tended to and received my order quickly. They saved us from nasty hotel coffee.

I had a cappuccino here and the flavour of the brew was nice. The service was super slow though.

I recently visited Peet's Coffee and had a troubling experience that has me questioning the integrity of this location. I ordered a single coffee, and to my surprise, the total came to $13.00. When I asked for a receipt, the cashier, was hesitant and eventually handed me a crumpled receipt, which felt suspicious. She then asked for a manager’s help to remove a drink that had been added to my order without my knowledge or consent.

After some back and forth, I was given a corrected receipt showing $6.00 and a $6.00 cash refund. However, when our cashier handed me the refund, she said, "I only charged you for one drink"—as if that wasn’t already expected. The receipt clearly showed that this was the second reprint, and my card had indeed been charged $13.00 originally.

This whole situation left me feeling confused and upset. I now wonder if I’ve been overcharged on previous visits, especially since I never usually ask for a receipt. Why was I charged for an extra drink in the first place? The lack of transparency and reluctance to provide a receipt makes me seriously question the practices at this location.

If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend checking your total carefully and insisting on a receipt to ensure you're not being overcharged.

Was desperate for my afternoon coffee and came across Peet’s. I popped my head in and the smell was just wonderful, it made me want to walk to the counter. I ordered a small cappuccino and didn’t have to wait too long. I’m glad I chose to sit and have my coffee inside as in my opinion the coffee was extremely bitter and burnt tasting. They had honey on the side, I added this to my coffee - the first time adding something sweet in 8.5 years. By half way I also had to add half & half, super strong coffee.

Fast service and good food. Only issue, will you order a quiche and they had no ketchup or condiments and they all did not have knives or forks. Seemed odd.

I love it here but one of the employees keeps whistling “Winter Wonderland” and it’s making me insane. 5 stars
