Great meal, great service!
After seeing a lot about Perry’s, we wanted to go try it out. The food was great. We got some sushi along with a few appetizers and an entree for us to share. Everything was great.
In addition, service was fantastic. The server was so helpful and welcoming. We had a great time and can’t wait to go again.

The only reason for 2 stars is the roof top deck which is really nice. If you’re going there for sushi you will disappointed. We ordered delux sushi and salmon skin hand rolls. It was almost inedible. Hand rolls were dry and tasteless, sushi had old rice and some of the fish cuts were less than fresh (spoken diplomatically). The wait staff was friendly and competent, service was top notch. If you’re after the atmosphere and great service go there. If you’re after good sushi definitely skip it. If you really want an amazing sushi go to Sushi Toro in North Bethesda. It makes Perry’s taste like gas station sushi.

Very very delicious this is my first experience at this restaurant for my 41st wedding anniversary and I am extremely pleased and happy.
The style of this Japanese food is very comfortable, warm and inviting.
Completely simple, completely beautiful, and extremely satisfying.

Came here for the drag brunch & I was VERY surprised. Was not expecting this great of a show out at Perry’s (which I have also done dinner here). Definitely would come back for another drag show?

We went here for my son's birthday. The quality of the fish in the sushi was good but the rolls were mediocre. We enjoyed some of the other things we got but some of them were underwhelming. It was a mixed bag overall but not worth $350 when we were all still hungry when we left. We were put at a "special" loft table that gave us all the noise and none of the attention from the staff. We couldn't wait to pay the check and get out of there.

I gave Perry’s a couple tries, but have no reason to return.

The food is ok, overpriced for the quality- typically looking better than it tastes. Very bland flavors in comparison to some of the other Japanese restaurants in DC.

On our last visit, we tried their Japanese breakfast special. The trout was decent, cooked well. The pickled veggies were a couple of slices of carrot and cucumber- maybe “pickled to order” as they were simply raw and sad on the side of the tray. The wagyu beef stew was ok, but not quite Dinty Moore quality. The mushroom/veggies in broth was my favorite item. We ordered roe and nattu on the side, having to remind the server after it didn’t come out with our tray. We also ordered a fruit Sando they forgot about but didn’t charge us for- the time waiting for the food was long as well and the mediocre quality didn’t help when it finally arrived.

Cocktails lacked flavor/balance as well, nothing special about the couple we ordered one being a tequila/margarita type and the other a watered down michelada type.

My partner and I went because our friend caught COVID and couldn’t use the reservation of 5 booking he had made. We assumed his deposit would be applied to the bill- it wasn’t. They credited us for two of the initial $42 dollar breakfast trays and pocketed the rest. So he paid around $200 to make the reservation and we had to pay an additional $80 on top of our credited breakfast trays, assuming his initial credit would be applied. Please don’t repeat our mistake.

I understand why late cancellation policies exist and that sometimes you’re stuck forking over a prepaid deposit due to illness/unforseen circumstances. The rationale sort of disappears though when you not only pocket the deposit, but take in over $300 in total for providing 2 breakfast meals. 20% gratuity always added, of course. The manager double downed after asking if the lack of credit was a mistake- that’s fine. If your goal as a restaurant is to milk your customers for all they’re worth they’re certainly doing a decent job.

The breakfast tray is probably worth $25 for fair value- we have no interest in returning and will pass along to our friends so they can get their sushi elsewhere if they ever had the misfortune of considering Perry’s

Went with a group of 4, so we got to try a little of everything, and everything was amazing! The service wasn’t bad, not great either, but it’s weeks later and I can’t stop thinking about the wagyu steak with the miso romesco sauce, so 5 stars it is!

Last time I was here I got fired rice & miso soup. Fried rice was delicious. No reaction. Tonight got miso soup and had a reaction. I guess they changed the miso paste to one with barley, making it not gluten free as labeled. Hit or miss, if you’re celiac.

Very high quality sushi, with nice big cuts for the sashimi orders. Their happy hour is what brought us in and we would definitely return!

Great happy hour deals in sake and some basic maki and sashimi. I would highly recommend it!

If you’re looking for an excellent experience with brunch + drag queens show, that’s the right place! Go for it and you won’t regret! I went today (Sunday morning) with my partner and we had a such great time, with great staff serving us and a delicious food. At the end of the show the performers came up to us and appreciated us and we took awesome pictures. It was a blast! ?Thank you, guys!
