I wanted to try the Japanese breakfast by James Beard Award-winning Chef Masako Morishita. I also wanted to introduce my family to a good Japanese breakfast since I am Japanese.

I personally enjoyed Nikujaga, which is a popular Japanese beef stew for children.

Vegetable Agedashi was well-seasoned. I could tell they used fresh ingredients.

The fish (Trout) was meaty, and I was surprised that its color was pink.

Dinner at Perry’s was such a treat. The space has that classic steakhouse charm — elegant but still comfortable. The service was polished, the drinks were strong, and the food was spot on, especially the steak. It’s the perfect spot for a celebration or a nice night out.

Really unbelievable DC gem. Gorgeous restaurant set up inside and really wonderful rooftop with first-come-first-served bar seating. I cannot say enough about how incredible the food is here. Very accommodating to dietary needs, like vegetarian and gluten free, without feeling like there is even a tiny bit of diminished quality or value. Kind, thoughtful, and helpful staff, too. Might be one of my all time favorite restaurants.
