Can’t comment on the food because I came in with a friend and they ignored my existence for several minutes until I ultimately left. They don’t serve black people here as an FYI and other minority reviewers seem to have had similar experiences.

This spot is a great seafood restaurant for the DuPont Area. Their menu changes frequently depending on the types of fresh seafood they have at that time. The prices reflect the freshness of their food. I had the oysters and the wild danish turbot which came with grilled asparagus and caviar! It was paired wonderfully with a glass of Prosecco for the oysters and a Chardonnay for the fish. They are taking covid precautions. Their menu is written on large chalkboards, they offer outdoor seating, and you must wear your mask if you walk within the restaurant. I would also like to acknowledge how wonderful my server Efrian was! A must visit.

Food is consistently not just good, but mind bogglingly amazing, staff are great, wine selection and cocktails top notch, and it's been that way since my first visit 13 years ago. I've looked forward to every chance to visit as I've moved around the country and so excited to be back in the DMV and able to stop by more often!

Just picked up an order of soft shell crabs - over the top flavor and fried just lightly so that you can taste the crab. Don't know how long the Chef is going to have them on the take out menu but at $19.00 - affordable and delicious - give a try.

We met friends who live near DC for dinner. I was surprised that the restaurant wasn't crowded even though it was a Saturday night at 7:30. We only eat fish, not shellfish, and there were about 3 choices for us. The meal was fine but not the best I've ever been to.

Great service, delicious meal (popcorn shrimp with lightest of coating; Caesar salad with twist of smoked trout; halibut and monkfish as entrees), good setting. It's harder to imagine fresher-tasting fish. The Washington Post was right in praising Pesce as best seafood restaurant around.

I lunched with a friend. We sat at the table in the window. We shared the beet salad to start. She had the arctic char and I had rockfish-- both excellent. It's a great place for a leisurely meal and conversation is easy.
