Another DC mainstay that only survives because of its location. Food is so boring and bland and somehow not hot despite coming out so fast. Service was good when not aggressively blunt. Not worth a trip.

The menu did have some vegetarian options which is why I went there but the restaurant is disgusting. I saw dust on the decorations, they had a cat inside, the plates were chipped and the silverware had damaged spots. Nobody that I saw was wearing a hair net. I saw smudges on the outlets and the items were disorganized. The pepper shakers were not cleaned off and some items were stored in an old cardboard box. I would have expected better with the business being near the nations capital and the United States supreme Courthouse but I was actually extremely disappointed. Another restaurant close by had salad options but their spinach looked wilted and the carrots looked old. I had hoped this restaurant would have fresh cut lettuce and better choices but the lettuce was browning around the edges and the carrots looked dried out.
Cheap food. That's the only positive. They deep fry the bacon...nasty. As far as service...don't get your hopes up. Fairly rude service, if you can call it service. And having a cat run through a restaurant isn't appealing to me.
