Excellent service, exceptional food and electrifying cocktails. Big shout to Camilo, who was our waiter and made sure we had a 5 star experience!

The ambience and staff were first rate. The staff accommodated my vegetarian substitution, they were very attentive, showed up when needed, and were incredibly friendly and welcoming, but not intrusive. The restaurant interior is beautiful and nicely lit. Romantic. The food is nothing special. Typical Chinese/ Asian fare with standard soy flavor. The cocktails were great! My gin martini was made exactly to my specifications. The staff really do deserve a big shout out for style and service.

This DC Restaurant Week meal at Phillipe Chow was disappointing compared to our first time before Christmas. It was WAY too LOUD from whatever birthday party was there last night!!! Maybe there should be an extra room for parties and what not! We missed the band! Loved the Spicy Filet Mignon dish, red velvet cake and veggie lo mein! David enjoyed his Filet Mignon dish as well. We both adored the chicken satay!! HOWEVER: there was some onions in the green beans!! I am allergic to ALL onions! I found the ONIONS after combing the beans and after it was reheated! I had to give them to my partner. The peppers were crunchy even though I asked for all of the peppers and the green beans to be soft, not crunchy. Veggie Lo Mein was very good. I had that. David had the veggie rice, which also had some onions in it! Please, please have NO ONIONS next time we come! Thank you!!

We were extremely disappointed with our dinner to say the least. We want to celebrate my husband‘s birthday before seeing a girl across the street at Arena stage. The menu looked very good and we were gifted a gift certificate for the birthday dinner. The service, was good. Our server was a young lady who was very nice. The ambience was extremely dark. Could barely see anything. We ordered lettuce wraps that tasted smoky and burnt, which was unlike any other letters that I've had I complained, and they took it away and we ordered dumplings, which were just OK but I've had much better at other simple Chinese restaurants. I was expecting so much more my husband ordered the crispy duck which thank goodness he was happy with because it was his birthday and all I wanted was for him to be happy. I ordered a filet mignon noodle dish. Unfortunately, the noodles were cold, and this was not meant to be a cold dish. It was an extremely cold evening last Saturday and the last thing I wanted was cold food. They took it off the check but needless to say I left hungry and we spent almost $150 and I didn't even have any alcohol!?! They didn't even do anything for my husband‘s birthday, which was really disappointing since I made sure they knew we were celebrating if this is a high-end Chinese restaurant they really need to step up their game. I will not be returning.

Every time I go here I know I will get fabulous service and delicious food! Camilo was our waiter and he was wonderful from beginning to end and I would highly recommend you ask for him when you come

Our waiter was amazing! I ordered the sea bass and I sent it back. It was mealy and not good. I then ordered wonton soup since the rest of my table already had their food. It was cold and too much scallion. Friends branzino was way too spicy. My husband's shrimp was mushy. Dumpling wrappers were too thick and scallion pancake tasted like nothing but friend dough! We won't be going back. It was still $100 a person even without my entree. We won't be going back! Although the waiter Sebastian was fabulous!

I just had the best service in YEARS. Andre showed me that there are waiters who truly know how to make a customer feel special. I honestly think he is the only one left though especially with the younger generation. When you come here ask for Andre. He's not hard to miss he looks like a young Lance Gross and smells like a cabbage patch kid doll. To the owners: Give this man a raise and promote him immediately. To Andre: You are GREAT! Don't be a waiter forever - GROW‼️

Had a great birthday dinner for my wife at Philippe Chow. The service was excellent and the manager even came over and made us feel special. The restaurant was very good with gluten free dining (I'm celiac) and even sent the chef out to explain how he prepared one dish gluten free. A very thoughtful touch and much appreciated. A swanky atmosphere which makes for a fun and delicious evening !!

This was our first time dining here. from the moment we walked into Philippe Chow-DC we knew were in for an experience. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The restaurant is not large and we felt cozy at our table. The service was to notch. Everything from the steak to sweet and sour chicken to the best wonton soup I have ever tasted. There was a quartet playing while we ate. It just added to warmth of our evening. Dessert was wonderful. We look forward to our next visit when we are in town.
