My server Julio and the mngr George are always a pleasure when I come to Phillippes. Always great service and hospitality.

Julio P was in charge of our dinner celebrating 36 year anniversary. He was attentive, knowledgable, and made sure our time at Philippe Chow was wonderful. Next our food was amazing and unlike any other restaurant we have been to. I had the Salt & Pepper Lobster which was out of this world (so good our table neighbors bought the same thing). Side were delicious, and the baked Alaska was a fun and delicious way to end the evening.

My wife and I went to Philippe's for dinner. Cons- We were given the option of bottle or Still water. We chose Stillwater. We really didn't think much of it but at the end of the night was charged $10 per bottle. The service was subpar. The waitress was not very interactive or friendly. Pros - We sat on the patio and it was a beautiful evening. We had the Peking duck spring roll, Lobster fried rice, and the sea bass. We also had a couple cocktails. The food and cocktails were very good!

The restaurant is located in the Wharf in Washington DC. We were there on July 4th and it was a very festive atmosphere. The restaurant was busy but that did not affect the service, the food or the drinks. We had reservations we made through OpenTable and they quickly had us seated. Our server Julio was great. He immediately took our drink and appetizer order. The drinks and appetizers came out quickly. We then put in our entree order and that came out quickly. Julio was on top of everything. From the changing of plates and utensils to the refilling of drinks. Overall it was a great experience which we capped with catching the fireworks show from the pier.

When you are lucky enough to dine at Philippe DC, do yourself two favors: 1. Ask for Saron and 2. Order the Lobster Satay and the Cotton Candy Baked Alaska! We delighted in our evening here for a family celebration. The buttery, generous Lobster Satay won star status, with the Shanghai Noodles with filet mignon a close second. On this steamy DC evening, we decided to enjoy seafood entrees: buttery Sea Bass, hearty Red Snapper and smooth and lightly spicy Lobster Noodles. Saron's skilled food and cocktail recommendations were just what we needed! Her attentive service throughout the evening kept this family meal on track. Her recommendation of the Cotton Candy Baked Alaska was a hit with our little guy and a fun, dramatic finish to a wonderful evening. Thank you for a memorable experience!

Beautiful ambiance and great vibes! Service at the bar was great, but all the food I ordered-Spicy lobster noodles, green beans, and spare ribs were flavorless.

Absolutely wonderful. The Branzino was outstanding, but the truffle and chicken potstickers might be my new favorite! Service was great at both the bar and at the table. Will definitely come back on our next trip to DC.

Visited Philippe's this past Saturday night and was immediately greeted with such warmth. Andrea made my old fashion to perfection and she was willing to help with anything we needed. We didn't want much to eat so we just got the calamari 9/10, the veggie lettuce wrap 9/10 and the beef lettuce wrap 10/10. When Andrea left for the night, Ponce picked up right where she left off and took great care of us. We later sparked a conversation of the manager George and Sadi, who were both very welcoming. I look forward to more late nights, happy hours and dinners with the girls here at Philippe's at the Wharf!

As longtime NYC Philippe enthusiasts, my family and I were admittedly skeptical about finding a comparable experience in the DMV. However, we were pleasantly surprised! From the moment we walked in, we were met with exceptional service, and we had the absolute pleasure of meeting Angela and the manager, George. Both were incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating, making our visit truly memorable. The food was outstanding, the service impeccable, and without a doubt, we’ve found our new go-to spot. If you visit, do yourself a favor and request Angela’s section—she’s the best!

Music is often too loud like your in a club and you can't have a conversation with your table mates at typical speaking volume.
