First of all, the coffee is great. However, I think they should teach their staff how to measure coffee when preparing a pound of whole beans. Net weight excludes the weight of the bag. It's a matter of principle...
Four of us headed to Philz Coffee in Adams Morgan for a quick breakfast. We ordered four drinks and three pastries for $36. The service was fast and friendly. My chocolate croissant was fluffy and delicious - lots of chocolate between soft croissant layers. Philz is spacious and clean - a great place to meet friends, do some work on your laptop or just take a break. Only place where I feel good spending $7 on a cold brew. I love Philz. The people who work here are so nice and warm, the coffee is special, and the breakfast burrito is incredible. Great place to sit and work or take coffee to go. Only downside is there’s only one bathroom which can get backed up every so often.After the Dupont location closed I’m now just hoping this one stays in business!
