With the weather beginning to get colder - what better time to start exploring to find great Pho restaurants in the DMV.
My friend and I decided to try Pho House because of its very central location, and also because of its great reviews.
Overall, the food was delicious and the we were able to add extra meats and make substitutions to our orders which was great.
The broth that I had with my Pho was very well made. The flavours were substantive, as were the meats that were in the dish.

This is easily some of the best pho in the city. But it’s not just good pho— their bahn mi sandwiches are delicious and their summer rolls are a must. Plus, it’s reasonably priced and the service is quick and friendly.

I was feeling under the weather and really wanted some pho so I did some research and decided on this spot. Upon entering it was completely empty and very dim inside. I stood for a few minutes and started to pace a bit past a doorway that said employees only. I saw a shadow and I assumed they finally noticed there was a customer present, meaning me. A few moments later someone finally comes from the back to greet me and take my to go order. He was very kind and accommodated my request to have the Pho Sate made with chicken only. I also ordered the fried shrimp dumplings which were very delicious and the sauce that came with them was sweet with just the right amount of spice. The pho was great as well and a very good portion size. I will visit again although I wish they were a bit more attentive.

Best pho in DC, much better than other pho places. I would recommend Pho Chin. Broth had authentic pho smell, great value for $13.99. Staff were nice and friendly and food was prepared in less than 5 minutes. Restaurant is clean and relaxing. Only problem and the pho spoons which kept falling into my soup because these spoons don’t have the ends to stop them. ?♂️I was intending to have more pho on July 5?, but the place was closed ?. Definitely will come back the next time I go to DC.

Y'all I paid like $12 for one of the best mother lovin banh mi's you can get anywhere in the city (please remember to put a bitta hoisin and Sriracha on that sando) and it was out so hot and fresh the bun was still steaming.
The pork? UMAMI. Veggies? CRISP, CRUNCHY, and VOLUMINOUS. The herbs? FRESH AND HERBACIOUS LEMME TELL YA.
I just really need it to be that next time I try to come in here there's a wait, because holy hell am I confused as to why I was in and out in 20 minutes
