Food was ok. Not authentic Vietnamese food. I brought my Vietnamese friends and we were disappointed. The Bún bò Huế tasted more like Tom Yum soup. The Cơm tấm (rice plate) was ok but the fish sauce was flavorless. If you want true authentic Viet food, I recommend going to Eden Garden Center. It is a drive but worth it

This one of my family’s favorite restaurants in DC. We love the vegetarian pho, veggie curry, lemonade, and veggie summer rolls. It’s very kid friendly and meets our tricky dietary restrictions. The outdoor patio is charmingly decorated. The owners are kind, generous people. We’re grateful to have Pho Viet in our neighborhood!

Their spicy lemongrass pho is my favorite I've tried in DC proper. It's flavorful (you can choose the spiciness level), and the portion is large. Sometimes it's hard to get a server's attention becuase it can get quite busy, but the pho is worth it.

This place looks and feels like a hole-in-the-wall type of places despite being located on a very public roadway.

The brother was flavorful and didn’t require any extra sauces like hoisin, the predetermined spice levels are not white people spicy (I was sweating and patting myself dry the whole time), the strawberry-banana was soothing, and for not having any ice chips in the water the water was still cold and refreshing. The spring rolls were refreshing and tasty as well.

Knocked a star off because the cost to size ratio of said smoothie was comically asinine. Save your money and hit a local smoothie/ boba shop instead…
Also, for such a small location and little amount of customers inside, it was oddly difficult to get a staff members attention.

Negatives aside, this place is one of my favorites now.

Ummm… this is place is fine. Nothing special but the price is on the higher end. Not authentic whatsoever. We saw no Asian customers but a lot of Hispanic faces, so maybe that tells the story. Also, we had to wait for 20 minutes after most of the dishes weee served.

After scouring the internet to see where locals thought the best pho in DC resides, I came to check this place out. The dead cockroach hanging from the vent in the bathroom settled whether I’d ever come back, but I had already ordered by that time. The sports bar around the corner from me has better pho than this place. It’s not bad, just unremarkable.

I ordered and eat from this place very often! Food is great ! Service is even better ! Owners are very friendly! Clean, refreshing, etc… yes, there may be “rouches” some times but they are everywhere at any restaurant, regardless of how clean they look! You can’t stop mices, rats, rouches ! specially in DC! It is bad for customers to see this , but lets be realistic and not let this things create big negative scenarios! Enjoy your visit at this place! At the end of the day , it’s a great place to visit!

Awesome Pho.

had a minor delay (stuff happens, not an issue) and they more than made up for it without asking and gave me a really nice hand written note and a BUNCH of extra food.
