Favorite and best PHO in DC. Periooddd!! It’s been our spot for years and a great hangover cure when needed. The spice level options and flavor are unbeatable every time.

the food is amazing i come here all the time and tip well but today i had a horrible experience with the woman working the front. i asked for a ginger ale she brung it with ice i opened it and tasted it and tasted horrible i checked the can and the brand and it was horrible (seagrams) she came out and brung my partner a canada dry and i realized we were served two different types i asked to switch it she told me it’s my fault u should've looked at the can and that u need to pay for both. she was extremely rude and so today i will eat and pay normally as well for the item i was not satisfied with and take my lovely tip back home with me.

I LOVEEE this place. Hands down the best pho in dc. They’ve really made the place place warm and inviting. My FAVORITE is hands down the spicy lemongrass shrimp pho - medium spice.

Nina and Mike have built an incredibly special place in DC. The pho is delicious, highly recommend the spicy lemongrass pho. I typically go for a 13 full spice, but sometimes I change it up. My husband is a big fan of the banh mi, which comes with sweet potato tempura which is sooo goood! I can go on forever, I've happily ate everything on the menu. The staff are all lovely and friendly — together with the owners they a great big family filling bellies and hearts.

0 out of 5 stars if I could rate that low. I’ve come here recently with my group of friends and have recently been served by a very rude lady. She looks like a man and very heavily wears makeup. She is rude and rushes us to order. We ordered 3 soups, an extra noodle and one drink. The food took about 30 minutes and people who came before us were served way before we did, even with bigger parties. Once the food comes, there’s little to no meat on the soup, it’s cold, and it’s very very watery. We suck up to it because were long time customers of this business. Before were done eating the lady keeps walking by us with the check just wanting us to leave. We finally get up to pay and she basically runs up to us. She tells us our total is 57 dollars which is super absurd. 3 soups for 13 dollars each is only 39 dollars plus the extra noodle, 4 dollars, and the one soda, which is 2 dollars. Our total should’ve been 45 dollars plus maybe 3 dollars in tax? 47 we were upsold by 10 dollars which probably went towards her very undeserving tip. This place has really fallen off with its new employees. The young man who works there would’ve treated us with the respect we deserve, but we haven’t seen him there in a while. This place used to be very nice to dine at but very disappointing on what it’s become. Very embarrassing for the establishment.

I’ve been coming here for years and I noticed that recently the pho has tasted extremely watered down. Also a 15 dollars pho should have more than three pieces of meatballs, it’s basically half of a netball cut in thirds. Extremely disappointing.

Vegetarian pho was too salty. I left feeling very, very thirsty. I also found something that looks like shrimp flakes in the vegetarian broth.

Best Vietnamese food in DC hands down! I’ve tried a lot of places in Virginia, Maryland and DC. I have my favorites there, but this is always top 3, and best in DC by far! Their chicken pho is the best you’ll find. Summer rolls and spring rolls always fresh and never disappoint.

Food was ok. Not authentic Vietnamese food. I brought my Vietnamese friends and we were disappointed. The Bún bò Huế tasted more like Tom Yum soup. The Cơm tấm (rice plate) was ok but the fish sauce was flavorless. If you want true authentic Viet food, I recommend going to Eden Garden Center. It is a drive but worth it

This one of my family’s favorite restaurants in DC. We love the vegetarian pho, veggie curry, lemonade, and veggie summer rolls. It’s very kid friendly and meets our tricky dietary restrictions. The outdoor patio is charmingly decorated. The owners are kind, generous people. We’re grateful to have Pho Viet in our neighborhood!
