You can’t rush greatness… and Pho Viet on H Street proves it every time. The broth is rich, balanced, and full of flavor that tastes like it’s been perfected over years. The portions are generous, the ingredients fresh, and every dish hits exactly how Vietnamese comfort food should. Easily one of the best pho spots in DC.

This happens to be my favorite pho restaurant in the dmv. I come here so often that the ladies know my order… last night I came with my daughter and spent over 50.00the young man was at the counter.. I always pay before I sit so when I’m done I can just leave…
Food came out fast, there was no water on the table. And I had to ask twice for my 2 lemonades that I already paid for while he played on his phone.
One lemonade was perfect while the other one was just water, sugar and 3 limes.
Every time he is working at this place I will leave out this is the second time I have encountered this poor service with this young man working.

Love this place! The spring rolls, vermicelli and pho are delicious.
Chicken pho hit the spot very yummy and good portion for price! Seasoning if precise and love that the chicken is shredded instead of thinly sliced

The food was absolutely awful — it was clear that nothing was fresh. Cleanliness is completely neglected; the tables and chairs were sticky, and the restrooms were a hygiene disaster. I tried to file a complaint with the restaurant manager, but he didn’t speak English and acted like he didn’t care at all. He completely ignored me when I tried to explain the issues.
Don’t waste your money here — you’ll definitely regret it! The food quality is terrible, and the place fails badly when it comes to hygiene🤥🤮🤮

I wanted to like this place, especially since I picked it over somewhere my wife picked, and boy was I disappointed.
They put a ton of black pepper on everything! The pho had a ton of pepper. The lemongrass chicken had no lemon grass flavor, but you guessed it, had tons of pepper. The Bun Bo Hue tasted nothing like BBH, but yes, had tons of pepper.
The Thai tea boba was so overly sweet that my 14 yo son took two sips and left it. Not to mention that the boba was all clumped up.
The service was horrible. On the hottest day of the year, there is no or low AC, and had to ask for water about 3-4 times before the finally brought it, and never offered to refill. My BBH was brought out AFTER everyone else was basically done. And the restroom was a storage room for everything except toilet paper and working paper towel dispenser.
Sad Uber ride back to the hotel...avoid if you're considering.

I was excited to try this place but was really disappointed. The broth was actually very good but they gave us none of the usual stuff: hoisin, siracha, basil etc etc. And I even paid for ‘extra siracha’, which is why I think they gave us 1 tiny packet but that was it.
Do not get the bahn Mi if you like them. It was DRENCHED in mayo to the point where it was almost inedible.
Would not order from here again.
