The location, food, ambiance were all great, but the service was poor. It took a while for someone to come over and take our orders. Tables that ordered after us received our food before us and we didn't have anything complicated. Our waitress was just terrible. At the end we had to wait a while for our check and then when we wanted to finally pay she was no where to be found we ended up paying with cash because we were tired of waiting. When we walked out we saw our waitress outside just standing around...

I arrived early to my reservation and did not receive any service once seated. No one came to check on the table nor take drinks. I sat from 8:25 PM til 9:07 PM and did not receive any service. The restaurant was also not busy it was close to empty when I was seated which makes no sense why I was not served.

I had the pleasure of visiting Pink Taco during my trip to D.C., and my experience was made exceptional by Miish, the bartender. She crafted an incredible Cadillac margarita that hit all the right notes—perfectly balanced and just the right amount of kick. Beyond her skills behind the bar, Miish was a delight to chat with. She was warm, engaging, and truly added a special touch to my visit. If you're in D.C. and looking for a great drink and even better company, be sure to ask for Miish—you won't be disappointed!

We arrived before our reservation and were seated 10 minutes after our reservation time. We waited for 25 minutes to get only water in disposable cups. We placed our order for food and bar drinks and asked to get the check for our meal when the food arrived, as we had a concert to get to. We waited another 35 minutes only for the server to bring us disposable cutlery, and tell us she'd check on our order. We waited another 10 minutes and walked out, having eaten nothing, and had nothing but water to drink. I complained to the manager, and he simple told me “don't worry about paying for your order, enjoy the concert”. Seriously? Totally unprofessional operation, terrible attitude by the staff, totally chaotic. I don't intend to ever go back.

5 stars ! Don't listen to negative reviews especially from 9-7. We Went Sat 9-7 ahead of Springsteen concert. Staff did very well busting their tails to keep things moving and dealing also with some obnoxious patrons . There was one person waiting in line - she was entitled... said “we have a 630 reservation ... your online system is not working ... we paid lots of money for a concert tonight and we are leaving . We are not waiting and you can expect a bad review.” Get a life lady ! World doesn't revolve around you and who plans dinner reservation 1 hr ahead of a blockbuster concert 1 block from the venue, duh. She stormed out . The staff handled it went just listened and didn't get into a verbal back and forth - kudos to the hostess for maintaining utmost professionalism

We had a 5:45 reservation and a 7:30 event at Nats Park.we arrived a few minutes early — so nearly two hours to make our event - and our food never came. We sat at the table for almost two hours and kept asking, and we ultimately left at 7:15 to try to make the event, having received nothing but chips and one round of drinks (which also took an hour to arrive). They are not adequately staffed for large crowds (all of the tables around us were having the same issue).

We have eaten at Pink Taco many times. This experience was nothing like past visits. It was an absolutely attrocious experience. The staff was clearly nowhere near prepared for the full house they had prior to a major event at Nats Park. The airco in the area where we were seated was set to "freeze a side of beef". It took 20 minutes for our server to come to our table. We immediately ordered drinks, guacamole, and all meals at once. 45 minutes later, still no drinks, no chips, no guacamole, no sign of our waiter. Seeking him out got us chips and salsa. A blow up at the table next to us with the waiter brought a manager into the room. After we spoke with him and another 10 minutes got us our drinks (2 margheritas were served without the tequila) and another 10 got us our meals but still no guacamole. We asked for the check at the same time as the food was delivered since there was limited chance the waiter would be back any time soon. I have been a big fan of PT up until this visit. Since I arranged the evening's plan, it was embarassing to have such a lousy experience with the frineds and family we invited.
Our waitress - given how busy she was - did a very nice job. The bar & kitchen were massively overwhelmed as we waited WAY TOO LONG for drinks & food. With a Bruce Springsteen concert next door at Nats Park, I have to put 100% of the blame on management/ownership. Completely unprepared for what was obviously gonna be a very busy afternoon/early evening.

My husband and I are empty nesters now and decided to hang out tonight. We ended up at Pink Taco where we enjoyed a night cap and light snack. Miish and Tayy were the right combo, good energy and great customer service. We will be back.

I dunno why so deserted during lunch but a welcome change. The server was very knowledgeable to provide me with an option that excluded multiple allergens and I'm so appreciative
