When I entered the restaurant I was greeted with a friendly smile. I got my food to go and the cashier gave me a cup so I could get some water while I waited for my food. I’ve ordered two rib dinners with collards, pork & beans, and Cornbread with pepper jelly. The beans I could do without, my mother liked the beans. Everything else was Good Eats!
Brisket bbq sandwich was meaty and juicy. The sesame seed bun was perfectly crisped at the edges and the complimentary cole slaw and bbq sauce were very nicely seasoned.I recommend you try this place for lunch or dinner when you want delicious meat sandwiches and platters!I didn’t have room for the gorgeous key lime pie in the case but I will be back for it and will update the review! I expect everything to be as delicious as it looks here.Ps, the girl working the carryout counter...
March madness begins tonight. I am fully domesticated … but a demand for downing. BBQ is strong in the universe. When back alley was actually in a back alley, we order a number of times. We concluded reluctantly that the quality declined too much. I recently heard from an expertly qualified colleague that the new location was dishing good. Gave it a try. The sandwich - the Mac Rib — was ok but not quite a match for my expectations. Good taste but texture and toughness...
