Extremely underwhelmed by the portion and flavor of the food. Literally the crust tasted like inflated saltine crackers and the cheese was so thin with no age or body to it and I couldn't tell if there was tomato sauce or not because it was barely there. No flavor. Also the cost was $17 for a hand pie. Literally the size of my hand for so much money. They automatically add gratuity whether you dine in or out.The reason for the food rating though is because service was excellent. Fast greeting, knowledgeable, professional. Not overly friendly but they got the job done. The place itself is cozy. There's a bar and several tables as well as a front seating area for takeout.I won't be back but this is my honest review.

Pizza was good. But almost all pizza is. Not worth going out of your way for. Crust was bland and too crunchy, sauce lacked depth in flavor. $80 for two 12" pies, a meatball app, and a diet coke. Service was friendly and good. DC's got a lot of great food but this would ping mediocre anywhere.

Pizza was uninspiring. Salad needed a lot more flavor, felt like greens thrown in a bowl with a hint of dressing (and I like light dressing).

Wings were rubbery and just a waste. Pizza was bland. Toppings are either sparse or piled on in a manner that prevents anything from being cooked. Servers were polite but uncaring in their manner. Also if you are looking for GF pass no flavor. Also ordering a cocktail like vodka soda shouldn’t have a up charge for carbonated water???

For our first time at this location We mentioned to the waiter and he had no suggestions on food. He seemed way off but only to find out there is a service fee of 20% on the check. So clearly doesn’t care he still gets paid. Our order was simple just pizza and drinks and all came to almost $60. That’s insane for pizza! Quality isn’t how the pics display trust and see for yourself. I think it’s over priced and the service was not good I had wave him down for a straw, napkins just basic stuff that he should have given us. I DO NOT plan to visit here again.

On a lazy Sunday morning my friends and I explored the Dupont Farmers Market. After browsing and having coffee, we were getting hungry so I took a look at nearby places through my beer app. Pizza Paradiso popped up with a killer tap list, so I mentioned it to my friends and they said it's one of their favorite spots! There was also the Georgetown location nearby, but they said even though it's larger, it's usually much busier with tourists in the area. It had a welcoming vibe with outdoor seating in the warm months, but on that day we sat inside. Right away I could tell it was a beer-centric place with posters supporting local breweries and homebrew competitions. It's a cozy place with small tables for couples or small groups; but there was one larger party going on and they seemed excited to be there. We were seated below the Belgian beer cabinet, which would make some friends drool if they saw what was available. I opted for draft, which had a ton of great local beers, and ordered a flight of four. We each ordered a different pizza and ended up swapping slices; each one was delicious in its own way. I had the chicken wing game day special with chicken, blue cheese, and julienned carrots and celery - all the toppings were fresh and crispy. While we were waiting for our food, I went to explore and look at the beer fridges behind the bar. The bartender was pouring my flight and we starting talking about their homebrew competition sponsorship; she told me last year's winner was currently on tap having been produced by a local professional brewery after the win. She poured me a free glass to try, it tasted even better with the story. After the flight I also ordered a can of a seemingly ubiquitous DC beer, which was also good. We didn't feel in any kind of hurry here, just leisurely enjoying some of my favorite things in life: beer, pizza, and friends.

The folks from Pupatella should pay these folks to teach them how to make a quality dough. Perfect amount of crisp from first bite to the last. Toppings and flavors were delicious and the place is cute and clean. Service was awkward at best, but that won't stop us from coming back. Chicken sausage and broccolini, really delicious.
