I was in town visiting my family and we decided to come here for dinner. I remember eating at the DuPont circle restaurant many years ago so was excited to return. I was quite disappointed with the experience. The service was poor. As an example, we were seated on the heated patio, which we were told was enclosed. Towards the end of our meal, the waitstaff opened up the section of the tent next to us, I think so they could serve a couple with their dog seated outside. It became quite cold and it was a bit bizarre they didn’t say anything to us about it or offer to move us inside, as it completely changed the temperature. We were getting the bill anyway so we just put our coats on. Our waitress seemed disinterested and forgot to bring my drink even after I reminded her. I finally flagged down another waiter who was helpful and friendly and he brought it to me. The food was subpar. The Buffalo wings were inedible. I ordered the Genovese pizza which I did not like- quite flavorless. On the upside, the insalada mista was fine and the margarita pizza was very good. The pizza crust was excellent. Overall a disappointing experience - overpriced for the quality of the food, and the service was disappointing. I would not recommend and would not return.

We hosted my daughter's birthday dinner here in the back room. The staff could not have been more accommodating. Brian worked with me ahead of time to plan a menu. Alec was the most amazing server and the bartender made the guests delicious mocktails. My husband also enjoyed the bartender's signature "Birmingham Sour" cocktail. I loved the margarita. Everyone had a wonderful time. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough for a group event for any age.

Food and people here really deliver. My favorite is the miniera which is three toppings of your choice. Mine are always sundries tomatoes, roasted eggplant and roasted garlic but there are lots of yummy options! The crust is so good! The staff here are friendly and offer good suggestions for wine pairings. There's also a stellar selection of local beers on tap. They have a nice patio and a cheery bar. The paradiso salad is also tops! Enjoy!

Pizza was...OK. Personal pizza and a beer $50. It's dough and tomato sauce. Much better value for the money to be found elsewhere.

Too many extra fees, for dining-in and/or take-out, in addition to a random “service fee” and in addition to the optional extra gratuity. The final cost of a $60 meal comes out to be over $80 even with no (optional) gratuity. Kid’s menu is more expensive than the regular menu for what’s served. Unreasonable and unfair pricing policy. Poor service by the wait staff, maybe because the gratuity is guaranteed and built-in into pricing?!

Reasonable price, pretty good pizza. Also didn’t let us wait too long.

Overheard another guest raving about @bigschlims Lamb Sausage Mambo Pie so I had to try it. It was delicious! Please keep it on the menu.

We ordered a miniera pizza to go with wheat crust, birreria sauce and three toppings. The wheat crust was extremely tough, tasteless, and burned on the bottom. The birreria sauce was very skimpy and tasteless. The three toppings, chicken sausage, mushrooms (very few), and spinach were good but the base needs lots of improvement.

While the food was fantastic and our server was amazing, I was quite saddened to learn that management blatantly steals hard earned tips from their waitstaff.

The pizza is nice. The salad dressing is a destination food item for some people. The restaurant has an outdoor patio area. Solid place for food. Ice cream sandwich was good.Kid-friendliness: Crayons.

Very quiet, few customers. Nice staff. Food was okay but not outstanding-pizza toppings were sparse. It was a Monday happy hour, but Millies nearby was packed. Large numbers of beer, wine, ciders and mixed drinks. As older adults we were not the target audience. Good place for college and grad students. Too expensive for food value, mandatory 20 percent tip, which is common in Washington DC.

Not as good as the old Dupont Circle mainstay, this branch serves well as a reasonable facsimile—just not as much fun. I had a salad and was disappointed bread was not served with it, but came with a. Extra charge.

Tony was excellent to work with to organize our private event for about 40 people. We booked their patio and adjoining room and it was perfect. Brian the onsite manager was stellar. Tosca, our server was so kind and professional and we loved having our special event there. This is one of our favorite spots and knowing that it’s also great for larger events is just fabulous. There is ample parking and it’s totally wheelchair accessible which we were very grateful for. We also had some vegetarian and GF guests and they were accommodated easily! The food was amazing like it always is! Thank you to the team for taking care of our friends and family.Parking: Lots of close by spots and ample spaces in the back.

It was ….Ok only. Salad with smoked chicken was disappointing. Just a heap of spinach leaves with some pancetta on top and small pieces of chicken on the side. Very basic. Pizza was a bit greasy with capers too salty not sour enough. Needs improvement
