Clean shop, friendly staff, food was amazing! Got crape-it was well balanced with stuffing, everything was cooked through and seasoned well. Almond croissant crisp outside.

Good coffee and testy food!

Really disappointed with the service. I had ordered and paid for a latte and tipped. Waited 5-6 minutes because I was told it would be brought out to me. I had to step outside to take a call, when I came back inside, there was another person working the counter who acted like I was trying to scam them out of a coffee. It was so offensive. I gave them so many details and answered all of the woman’s questions quizzing me if I had actually ordered. She asked me the time and was trying to pull up the transaction, when she did she showed me the credit card number and asked if it was mine and I said yes. Then, she continued quizzing me and asked what my credit card number was. I told her I just confirmed it with her. I finally showed her the Pending Charge on my app and told her to cancel. I work across the street and will not be back and told everyone in the office this incident and they said they will not go back as well. So rude and could have been handled much better.

The food was excellent and the crêpes were delicious. However, the customer service could be improved. There was very little communication from the staff, and they were a bit abrupt when I brought used coffee mugs to the counter to help out. Usually staff will acknowledge or say goodbye, but in this case there was no response. Took away from the great food

While the coffee shop itself is fine, what I wanted to shout out is the magician Andrew that’s in there! Not sure how often he’s there, but my friends and I got to talk to him (he approached us) and he showed us some neat card tricks. And then he made a little balloon dog)
And you can easily think “pfffft the heck is , why should anyone care about a magician” – he made the visit special and memorable! And Andrew was just a sweetie, so we all left with nice coffee and sweet memories!

The coffee is and location is great, but the customer service needs work. This morning I walked into a completely empty shop. No one greeted me and then I stood at the register for over 5 minutes while two ladies never looked up or acknowledged me. I gave it a few more minutes before walking out. I rather spend my money at a place where I can at least get a hello or be told that they would be with me in a few minutes. Don’t take these first impressions for granted. They matter.

I just moved to DC and this is the first place me and my friend went for food and coffee. We accidentally came in about 15 min before closing time but they still took our order. SO SWEET! The crêpes are lovely both sweet and savory and the coffee is gonna make me feel at home. Definitely recommend a quick visit and sip!
