The boba was horrible. Tapioca balls tasted weird and it was way too sweet even after I said 50% sweet. I couldn’t finish it and it made me feel sick after. The food here may be good I haven’t tried but the boba is not worth it. I had the black tea milk, pretty simple.

So far, I would have said I love this place. The bowls are really good. But now I got charged twice. I always order takeout, and it is sitting there for me, ready to pick it up. But last Saturday the shop did not confirm my order, so I had to order at the counter. And what a surprise. Even with the online order not going through and my food not ready, they still charged me over 19 dollars for the unfulfilled online order. Tried to contact them, no luck. I like their bowls, but after paying another over 19 dollars at the counter I can say that one bowl is not worth nearly 40 bucks. Will not return. What a pity.

Right spot for great poke!? I built my own with 4 proteins scoops (19,99$ +tax). All the ingredients were very fresh and delicious. I highly recommend putting all the available ingredients in your poke bowl! Staff is very kind and so patient! Bless them.

This place got rare 5 star for poke. It was better than most with good portion and fresh. Good selection on fish and sauces. Right in by chinatown area on H str. Im from California so know sushi and poke....so if want quick good poke...go here. 15.99, 17.99 for 2 or 3 meat poke bowl.

Having been long-time fans of Poke Papa, we used their catering services for an informal rehearsal dinner for our wedding. Paulo and the Poke Papa team truly went above and beyond- they had everything packaged perfectly and labeled, and gave us extra sauce and rice too so we were able to eat leftovers all weekend. They even gave us a congratulations card and it made the morning before our rehearsal so special. All our guests thought the food was delicious, and we can’t wait to come back again! -James and John

The manager is extremely unprofessional and rude! I ordered pickup for 4 scoop bowl and 2 musubi at 3pm EST and was set to pick it up at 3:10 EST. It takes way more time than 10 minutes for me to leave my house and get there plus I was delayed by an hour. When I got there to pick up my order, no one was able to find it. The cashier that was working at this time was sweet and actually started to look for where it could be or if it was still being made. The manager came over to me and asked for the name of the order and I gave him my name. He told me I already picked it up when I didn't. He got aggressive with me saying I already picked it up at 3:10 EST. I asked him if he or anyone else ever verified that the persn they gave my order to was me and he said "They never verify." I showed him that I was the one who placed the order and that this was my DoorDash account to which he looked me in my eye, smiled AND laughed at me saying if I had a friend pick it up ask them. I got offended since he basically told me I was a thief. I asked to have my order remade and he refused to remake it saying "If he had to remake it every time this happened he'd lose money." So this tells me this happens VERY often! Don't order here unless you're doing it in person! They will give your food away if your not there quick enough and blame you for it while calling you a thief! Then have the audacity to laugh at you!
