After a long trip and feeling unwell, I came looking for Japanese and Asian food. The pickled tuna and pickled salmon are chewy and delicious. Gari (ginger) is recommended because it is not too sweet and has a strong ginger flavor. The fried chicken on the side menu was seasoned with Japanese flavor, and the takoyaki was soft and delicious.
The store is also clean.

We did a group order from Poki DC for a work dinner. OMG did it hit the spot!! Shout out to Poki DC for the custom Poki bowl option. I ordered the create your own bowl w/ 2 scoops including spicy tuna and garlic sautéed salmon w/ the brown rice and quinoa along with variety of toppings such as green onion, cucumber, seaweed salad, crabmeat salad, other veggies and Ponzu and toasted sauce & it did not disappoint!
The Poke bowl was fresh tasting and quite filling and absolutely on my list to order again.
