Excellent experience, can't wait to go back! The bartender was super friendly and helpful with the menu. Prices were comparable to the area. Cool vibes. The food was delicious. And most of all, they have PINBALL! At the time of this writing they have four awesome machines, all in working order. What's not to love!
Carolyn goes there sometimes so that's cool. The staff is friendly and fun. Great hangout and Internet jukebox is fun. Pinball upstairs too.
Super friendly! Attentive. Neighborhood feel . Cleanish from what I observed. Food and drinks delicious on both visits. I really like this place.
Super friendly service. Feel like a local even when you’re from out of town. Good beer, good pinball, good food. What more could you want?
This place straddles an interesting line between a community neighborhood bar with pinball and a really excellent boardwalk-style seafood joint. The oysters are great, and if they have smelts you need to get them. The burger is also exceptionally good.
This place is the best! Food is great. Drinks are awesome. Pete is the best bartender ever. They’ll give you a plastic bag to take your leftovers, and then you can walk around Adam’s Morgan with a pocket full of fried goodies. I’ll have the pocket nugs to go, good sir!
This place is awesome. Seafood is really good and beer is affordable. It's like a seafood dive bar. I think it's cool. Seems like everyone knows each other. Will come back.
Stay far far away !!!
If I could give a zero I would. Dirty and empty. The bartender Dustin swiped all of our money from the bar and threw the tab on the ground. He then proceeded to stuff the cash in his tip jar and scurry into the back room like a rat. Seven of us watched, we called his co worker over, she didn’t want to be bothered or preferred to play d**** and called Dustin back out. He was belligerent and changed his story five times never stating how much the tab was and how much he took off the bar, even though we repeatedly asked the same question. He just kept spewing different illogical almost incoherent answers. Similar to a child getting caught point blank doing something wrong. He then started screaming get the f—- out of here. This was his only defense, diffuse by creating a scene. We weren’t a group of teens or twenty somethings that were drunk and out of control. We were 7 fifty something parents from out of town. To be treated like this was appalling. This is definitely the reason there were only 2 customers in the place on a Saturday night. I feel sorry for the owner. I am very glad we were not there king enough to order food, I can only imagine what that would have been like.
Food was good, staff was attentive, atmosphere was small, but nice. Had the fish of the day. Overall, great!

I had amazing oysters here as well as some good monkfish, which I'd not had before. Service was great and very friendly. A great place to go if you want old DC.
Olympics gymnastics tonight so a quick perfect carryout of fried shrimp and shrimp & grits. Delish. Ready now to cheer!
First time in DC I will never come here without going to Pops it’s the best of the best the Grapefruit Crush drink is world class
Dustin is amazing! 5/5 most best!!!! Solid
Love Pop's! Just stopped in for a happy hour beer and half dozen oysters today, thankful they're still open. Love nothing more than watching a nats game and grabbing some beers and food at the bar here.
