The woman in charge of the topping was purposely moving as slow as possible to try to get the long line of customers to leave. Very rude both with her actions and words.
Really good food and clean
Came into the restaurant to pick up an order at 7:10 pm. I’m super confused as to why the entire patio was put away, no cold food on the line, no hot food in the wells. The entire restaurant looked closed for business.
Why are we telling guest at 7:10 that the system is down and that we are only able to make orders if placed online?
Not only did this give customers a bad impression of the business, but Pot Belly potentially lost revenue this last hour, because of turning customer away!
Please investigate and correct and coach the team on this as we cannot continue to use the excuse of “the system being down when the POS are working correctly fine.
I’m a local GM and was concerned as if this happened in my business? I’d be super worried with the impact on Food and labor cost.
I have been to this Potbelly a few times and it is consistently awful. The staff are slow and rude, and each time I visit they are out of certain ingredients. There is always something wrong with my sandwich, too. Last time they burned the bread of my sandwich, and this time the inside of my sandwich was cold. There are lots of restaurants in Union Station. Go somewhere else.
A group of 174 servicemen were just served lunch because potbelly made it happen !

I preordered a sandwich this morning to pick up this afternoon. My meeting wrapped earlier than anticipated and this restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate my earlier pick up time. Always a good place to stop into for a sandwich. Was there today during the lunch rush, and the staffer there Melissa couldn’t have been nicer, asking each person “how are you today?” even as you could tell the line was long and they had to work quickly.
I was taking the Amtrak train this morning and I had purchased two sandwiches from another location the night before to eat one for dinner and the other on my long train ride and became ill after a few bites, so I kept the original sandwiches and all the original paper work because my train left before the other location opened I went to the location in Union Station and encountered Meri!! She was so respectful about my experience and quickly responded by remaking my order. I wanted to thank her for being kind courteous and professional. She had a beautiful smile and has great respect for her employer and her customers. Thanks again Meri for making a long train ride more enjoyable. You are appreciated. Thank you for going above and beyond. I am a loyal customer.
Ordered online, never got order and they wouldn't answer phone. Had to email customer service for a refund

Whole wheat bread is super delicious! ! The cereal was chewy and the turkey portion was adequate, but the service attitude of the sandwich clerk was super poor...the checkout clerk was much better.

This is like the 6th time i come here for an original chicken club and they rip me off with the amount of chicken and bacon i mean literally im biting into just bread and lettuce for half the sandwich. I used to get the skinny and thought they maybe couldnt fit it in the bread so started getting the original and its the exactly same thing! Idk why this location started doing this but its not right. Give the people what they are paying for!

Management is rude and disrespectful. You are supposed to be the lead & in control of the establishment, if you carry things as though it is okay to speak to paying customers as you do what does that show employees? That they are okay to be disrespectful to customers as well? I placed a online order & my sandwich was terrible tasted like they made my sandwich 20 minutes before I even got there. Manager acted as though it was an issue to remake my sandwich, which I to wait almost 10 minutes for. I will never return to this establishment again.
