Staff works hard, but they're either woefully understaffed or not supported. You'll end up waiting 30 plus minutes for online orders sometimes. I can't recommend this location until this gets resolved.

My first experience was negative. But I decided to that location another try. The second experience was worse than the first. There's no customer service. She was very rude just like it was the first experience. My food was disgusting.

Todays date ( FEB saturday-15-25) Food is great and the one gentleman very professional and friendly when talking to the costumers, but the girls not so mush friendly, unnecessary attitudes and weird ugly looks and they dont conform what your are adding to your food, just pray that when you get home everything you said is there's and most of the times is not, avocado turkey sub berally have any avocado for you to even tase it, this was my 3rd time coming to this store on L Street and trust me I am not going there any more, even tho I work right in front of the store. Staff training and probably weekly meetings might help this store to shine like it should.

This is my go to place for over a decade. Since they started taking online orders, their staff have been working overwhelmingly. And I can definitely see that in their decreased quality food. I did in person order for a few months, but the line to the sandwich maker is long, then I have to stand in another line for the salad, after all the hustle, there is another line to the cashier. So I gave up in person order and only gold online orders now. And yet, their sticker is so strong that it completely ribbed my leather gloves today, I only have them for a week. Great, no winner either in person order nor order online. These staff in this location work very hard to keep themselves out of the water. I wish they have more support. Thanks.

Potbelly has great food, but the staff at this D.C. location is the best! I may be a bit biased since I have lunch here three or four times a week, but their service is exceptional. Even on quiet weekends, they’ll brew a fresh pot of iced tea just for me if it’s not available.

The most rudest potbelly I’ve been to, I did not expect when I got my food today that I would get yelled at by the lady at the register and the ladies making the sandwich at the same time! I’ve never been treated so poorly at a potbelly just because I asked for bacon on the side….. worst attitude and the worst service, do not come here if you want to get yelled at!

First visit to DC from South Africa. I loved the Jalapeño crisps. The service was great!!
This is the second time getting mobile orders for my coworkers and I. The first time there was barely any marinara sauce on the meatball mozzarella sandwich and that’s no exaggeration. Almost dry. The second time around we ordered in the morning and both were Turkey with Swiss but no Swiss. No oil. No seasoning. We will try 19th street now.

Stopped in for 'A wreck' not a bad choice. Put hot peppers, lettuce and deli mustard on it. Got quite a twist on the flavor.Tastes like a Quiznos sub. Might try the Italian next time.

Frequently have to wait extra time on pick-up, up to 45 minutes after original completion time.There is no practical way to check the pick-up order, as the bags are sealed, wrapped in many layers, and you don't see the sandwich made in front of you. I always ask for extra protein on my orders (+$3.99 extra), but many times only receive the normal portion.If you want a sub, go to another Potbelly or to another business altogether.
