There is a tall, heavy set, darker skinned woman that is very rude and behaves as if I am an inconvenience when taking my order or when I have a question. I believe she has some sort of red color in her hair. I assume she is a manager. It’s okay to have bad days but it’s happened more than once so it seems as if she has a personal issue.

Don’t typically leave reviews but the staff here was amazing! My family and I went through really close to their closing time. Despite that they still served us really quick and gave us amazing service. On top of that they let us stay and eat past closing all while keeping up a genuinely happy atmosphere.

Horrendous service, terrible management.
I went in on a Sunday with a mobile order. They did not have my order ready and they were not able to fulfill it because they did not have mac and cheese. No big deal, except that after talking to the cashier, they told me to wait a few minutes. After 20 minutes of waiting AFTER arriving after the mobile order pickup, they told me they could NOT refund me. The manager Chris blamed management and said that I had no recourse and blamed the long wait time on poor communication between the staff. Will not be going here again.

I accidentally placed an order at this location .When I called to cancel once I realized it was wrong location someone there said they would get back to me on refund since they hadn't completed order. The employee left me on hold for 30+ minutes, and I called 4 times after and each time they hung up. Completely unprofessional, avoid this location unless you like your money being taken and then being ignored.

Stopped by this Potbelly earlier today and grabbed a Wreck sandwich to go. They weren’t too busy, which made the experience nice and quick. The staff was friendly, helpful, and had my order ready in no time. There’s plenty of seating inside if you want to dine in, and I noticed they have some great specials right now—$7.99 for a skinny sandwich, chips, and a drink is a solid deal. Overall, a smooth, satisfying stop. I’ll definitely be back!

We get it, you hate your jobs. I’m just trying to get some sustenance on my lunch break. I’m not the cause of your problems.

Ordered a salad with dressing for pickup, back home realised there’s no dressing. Still ate it because it made me feel skinny.

Was visiting Washington DC, this place was close to our hotel so on our last day, we decided to go in for a quick meal before heading to the airport. The girl that made my sandwich looked very annoyed. She gave that feeling like she wasn't there to do her job, she was there just for a paycheck. Sandwich was ok, a bit pricey for what you get. I asked to cut in in 3, it didn't happen, she ignored me. All the tables were dirty. Found a little table, by the door, that was wobbly. Would definitely not recommend!

The food is good but I waited 15 minutes after when my food was supposed to be ready to get it, and I had to go ask for it—the staff didn’t bring it to the shelf where it was supposed to be. And the woman who brought it to me didn’t apologize and seemed to have an attitude about the whole thing. I ordered in advance and scheduled pick up for 45 minutes after my order. This location also always gives me utensils even though I always say not to, in violation of a DC ordinance.

I like the Potbelly I go to different locations. all the time I went this location. first time Customer service it’s horrible.
I haven’t been here in awhile and I wasn’t pleased with the chili and pot pie soup which are usually so delicious but today neither was very good, I gave 4 stars because that’s not the usual, so maybe someone different made it. I also noticed they’re switching to black utensils, it’s been a few years but I overheard in a Dollar Store once a customer telling another customer not to buy black utensils because they’re poison and wouldn’t you know that’s what is available pretty much everywhere, coincidence? Perhaps, anyway Pot Belly’s still one of my favorite places.
Vegetarian options: They offer sandwiches and salads without meat and plenty veggies to keep you satisfied.
Dietary restrictions: They have plenty to choose from, sandwiches and if bread isn’t a good option for you they have plenty of salad options, give them a try.
Parking: You can find parking on the street and they also have a parking garage.
Kid-friendliness: They have plenty options that will keep a child full and happy.
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes they have a ramp, therefore someone in a wheelchair will have access.

Closed at 720pm on a Saturday. Hours online and on storefront say open til 8pm. Can see employees just looking at us while we tried to open the door lmao. Several other groups tried to enter while we stood outside trying to figure out where we wanted to eat now.

Someone took my sandwich by accident and the team was so nice about it! They made me a new one very quickly even though they were slammed. One lady/employee, whose name I didn’t catch, took personal accountability over my replacement order & kept checking in with me & offering me something to drink while I waited.

Me and my family came here two days in a row. The first day we came for lunch and the sandwiches were honestly really good, but the service was not great, but we just figured it’s because of the lunch rush. The second day, we went for breakfast so there was only two other people in there, and we ordered the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches but they gave us both sausage egg and cheese and we didn’t realize it until we got back home. While we were in the restaurant, we were pretty much getting harassed by a lady who seemed to be homeless because we couldn’t pay for her food. She was getting very close to our baby and saying very weird things to him, and the entire time the staff just didn’t even care. They didn’t apologize or try to help us when the lady began yelling at us. It was just a horrible and unsafe experience and we will definitely not be back.
