Good prices for Big portions, a nice experience all around, though it took some time to get our orders started.
Delicious food and nice atmosphere
The sweet potatoes were the only thing that was warm when it arrived (well after ordering). The noodles were cold, the broccoli was cold. The fried chiken was the only that that tasted good—everything else was heavily over salted. Terribly mediocre, extremely disappointing for a fully-vegan restaurant.
Teriyaki chicken (sub noodles), lemon brussels, and the fried mozzarella balls are all awesome!
We waited 28 minutes for our order. The restaurant was not full.
Great bowls and apps! Nice vegan fast casual option.
My food wasn’t even luke warm - it was room temperature. After waiting an inordinately long time. Overpriced and I didn’t even eat 1/3 of it. Lemonade had no ice. Uncomfortable chairs. 0 stars. Would not go back.

Waited for more than 30 min for my take out and didn’t even get chopsticks in my bag. Shame because the food is good although they run out of noodles (when half of the menu is made of that). For a weekend that busy in dc and having only 3 staff members seems really bad planning

Food too greasy. Food was also cold. The only thing that saved the order was the Disco rolls and that the taste is impeccable. Plus the regular bowl I used to eat they no longer make it and haven’t found a substitute. Also menu items are very limited on the computer. I am unsure if the menu items on the actual board are available.
Vegetarian options: Restaurant is all vegan. Used to come here a lot but have noticed since Covid quality of the end product is similar but not the same as before.
Dietary restrictions: I am a vegan.
Parking: Some street parking. On most days good luck there is no parking spots.
Kid-friendliness: No
Wheelchair accessibility: Yes.

The food is delicious, but the service is terrible. Multiple people asked for refunds as the wait after ordering was over 30 minutes.

Woah! Vegan or not - this is a must try in DC! Their whole menu is mouth watering. Even dining alone I had to order more than one dish and opt for leftovers; I'm so glad I did. The flavors are decent and balanced, the textures are satisfying (crunchy, creamy, dreamy), and the staff is very kind. Cannot recommend this spot enough! Go and go with people to order as much as you can!

Food was great and very filling. The cashier was very accommodating after my partner and I struggled with an inKind payment.

For some reason when I first tried pow pow many yrs ago I thought it was v subpar but my last visit made me a truther. Very proud as a dc native to have a fast casual vegan Asian restaurant.
I visited in the summer and tried the General's Chicken Bowl, which was wonderful. It's one of the only places I've ever eaten and not felt overly full and grossed out over the greasiness. It felt energizing and was overall delicious.
