Classic staple of Dupont Circle on 17th Street. Great place to eat, hangout, work, and coffee chat. I personally really enjoy the chocolate chip cookies and Steak & Cheese Sandwich but they're all good.
Prego Again is a great spot for fresh, flavorful Italian sandwiches and pasta dishes. The bread is soft and fresh, the fillings are generous, and everything tastes homemade. It’s casual and friendly — perfect for a quick, satisfying meal or takeout.
Just the loveliest little spot, and my default work-outside-my-apartment location. The prepared food and drinks are great, the mini-grocery selection of wine, snacks, and cold drinks is solid (don't sleep on the slices of cake), and the staff and atmosphere are relaxed and friendly, with great indoor and outdoor space.
(I very rarely leave reviews, but this place is such a gem in the neighborhood that I had to register my strong endorsement!)
