I usually get my morning matcha here, but I think I’ll limit how much I go here. I always ask for plant based milk cuz I’m lactose intolerant. I was pleased when I saw Prets doesn’t charge extra for plant based milk and I alway ask for the oat milk matcha since oat milk is the default. Lately, it seems like I’ve been getting regular milk and it’s been disrupting my mornings. Today, I overheard someone telling the barista who was making my drink that “Skim milk is fine, it’s the same.” Skim milk is not fine, it still has lactose. Imagine had I been allergic to regular milk? Please educate your staff of the difference and to consider asking if switching milks is fine in the first place. I don’t drink plant based milk cuz it’s trendy and even if I did, it’s not your staff’s place to judge. Just give me what I’ve always politely asked for.

A unique grab and go experience. The food is very fresh and made the same day. You can absolutely find something that you like in this place. The prices can be a little bit lower to fit a bigger margin of customers. I tried the Moroccan lentil soup it was hot a delicious. Lime cheesecake is a must and the ginger and tumeric shot is 👌🏼
