I recently attended a private party at Prima DC and had a wonderful experience. The venue was the perfect size for our gathering—intimate yet spacious enough to feel comfortable. I went on Saturday night for the bachata dancing presented by El Teteo. The bachata dancing was excellent, the place is small with a very strong Spanish vibe, Dominican Republic I think. I was little disappointed that there was no salsa. The crowd is very young mid 20 to early 30. Definitely got the impression that it is a spot for regulars. Dancing doesn’t start until 11 pm. Gorgeous space and has lovely staff. I found it difficult to locate since they don’t have proper signage to grab patrons' attention. Happy Hour deals are legit but don’t arrive to arrive because you’ll be one of few occupying the space.
