Chicken sandwich was tough. Expensive. Server was trying hard, but overloaded, making drinks and trying to serve nearly every table. Would not return. Poor value.

Went there for short rib, it was discontinued. Gout sausage and pasta and came with almost no sausage. Only thing good was burger my daughter got.

The Sunday brunch menu was sublimely delicious with satisfying portions. (The French Toast will change your life!) The staff was engaged and courteous and the restaurant itself presents even better than the photos on the website. I look forward to returning again soon. Well done!

As always, I had a great experience at this Proper location. My server Mia was wonderful! She was friendly and also great at her job. On top of that, the rest of the staff was amazing and the food was delicious. I will no doubt be here again in the near future!

The "vibe" here is ok. The food was underwhelming - and that's putting it nicely. I had the short rib and macaroni and cheese with the "crispy" pork. I thought I had COVID during my time here because I couldn't taste a thing. Turns out it wasn't seasoned. Not to mention the exorbitant price of the food. I suggest spending your money elsewhere if you want to eat.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at this bar, specifically the elderly gentleman at the entrance responsible for seating guests.
He clearly shows racial bias and is not friendly at all.
Even one star is too generous for this kind of service.
A few years ago, my PICs brought me here for my birthday as it was a Philadelphia Eagles bar and the Eagles were playing Dallas. It was a nice atmosphere, so it made the short list of places to watch the NFC Championship game between the Eagles and the Commanders. The first location had been packed since 10 a.m., so we called to see if any tables were available. The young lady said,'we have plenty of seats for the NFC game, but we are pretty booked for the AFC game as we are a Bills bar" 😲. We were like what? Ok, let's go check it out as it's getting late.
Much to our surprise, there were 3 seats at the bar right in front of the TVs. We already had brunch, so we were there for the game and drinks. We each order a carafe of mimosas/bellini, which is an entire bottle of Cava with the juice on the side. The bartenders were very attentive and the closer it got to game time, the quiet atmosphere changed to a hype football vibe, but the attentiveness didn't change. Halfway through the carafe and the game, I needed something to eat. They had a smoked burrata, which is served in a smoke filled dome with toast points and micro greens. I would go back just for that alone. One of my PICs had the mussels and she said they were tasty.
This was a great place to watch the game, oh the Bills bar was actually the back section/bar so we were able to stay, have a victory drink, Fly Eagles Fly lol and watch at least the first quarter of the Chiefs/ Bills game.

Recently held a birthday party in the semi-private space in the back bar. It was perfect! Great service from Hans and Morgan—they both made it a very special evening. All the food was tasty, especially the flatbreads, cauliflower bites, and buffalo chicken sliders. The ambiance is inviting with high ceilings and lots of windows. Highly recommend for group events!!
The birria egg rolls and wings are amazing! The bartenders are always friendly and attentive and the managers are always helpful
