Me and my coworker stopped by the market for lunch yesterday, we always try to find food places we havent eaten at before. This was our first time at the union market and puddin. He orders gumbo and I go eat at the Pitt beef place. We meet up at a table ,his food is fire, my food is fire. Im still eating and hes done, he walks away and comes back over with hot bread pudding in a cup with vanilla ice cream on top. Let me just say that it was so good that it couldn't have been any better if Jesus christ himself came down from heaven and fed it to me. 10/10 best thing we've ever eaten.

Puddin - Southern Comfort food was really, really, good. They gave me and my girlfriendās samples of everything on their menu. I donāt even like bread pudding but thereās was really good. The only reason I didnāt get it, is because Iām on a healthy diet plan right now, but babbbbbyyyyy them shrimp and grits I devoured that bowl.
$14.00 for some yummy goodness. We went down after our Bollywood work out from up stairs and got some yummy food. I highly recommend this spot. You will not be disappointed. The staff was so friendly, we all were smiling and laughing as we were sampling and running our mouths š . I will be going back Friday.

I'd be so excited when I get such great customer service when I say the cashier is such a delight. Sold me on the red beans and rice and the bread pudding.!!! My compliments to the chef! I hope you go further and further and keep, those good people around you. I was at another stall thinking about pork belly and boa bun. and the guy couldn't even explain to me to order he just looking at me. I take my money and my wallet and I put it back in my purse I know where I use my money. The customer service is 5 star! They are a NO CASH establishment.
The bread pudding is NOT authentic bread pudding. They serve bread soaked in butter with a hint of vanilla and cinnamon. Southern bread pudding has fruit (apples or peaches) raisins and sometimes nuts like pecans or walnuts. This taste and looks more like monkey bread.
They do serve it with icecream, but I declined as it was to cold outside. Overall it was very greasy.
This is easily the best bread pudding Iāve ever had in my life. Hell, this may be the best dessert Iāve ever had. Am I going to discuss this with my best friend, mother, brother and coworker? Yes. Will I try to have a conversation with a stranger on the metro about it? No doubt. Am I going to cater this at my wedding? I wish. I am telling you, this bread pudding will change your life, sort of like winning the lottery. This made my year and maybe my decadeā¦and I got engaged last week.
