Elizabeth’s Pupusa and Deli is a hidden gem conveniently located at 14th St. NW and Quincy St. NW. This little restaurant serves up some truly delicious food, especially their pupusas! They have a decent-sized indoor seating area if you prefer to dine in, although almost everyone gets their food to go. Everything is very reasonably priced. The staff is warm, welcoming, and always friendly. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area!
So it’s been awhile since I ate Pupusas outside of mi Tia’s, where they are superior to all others. Well, these came close. Visit. I was disappointed in the frijoles but I didn’t go there for those. Large and juicy. Yum.
Every time I've come here I remember why I want to come back! I love the pupusas and they're always filling enough to have as a light lunch or snack. I've had 3-4 different kinds now and have loved them all. It's always a little bit of a wait, but that's because they make them to order which is LOVELY. Can't beat the price either! I always see people in and out when I'm waiting for my pupusas and it seems like regulars, lovely place! I hope to...
