My sister invited my boyfriend and me to hit up this lounge on a Thursday night. Finding parking was not a hassle since we had to park across the street. The DJ, a maestro of musical mayhem, spun tracks that had us moving like never before. Also, the drinks were definitely on point for the vibe. Plus the hookah didn't disappoint either. Safe to say, we'll definitely be making a return trip to this spot in the future.

The DJ was awesome and the hooka was really good. They need to supply coal until it burns out.

I went on a Friday. Free entry. Good crowd. The DJ was lit, trap with sum throwback hip hop. The hookah was good but the drinks were small & mediocre. My tab was $96 for 2 cranberry vodkas & a hookah. Very Pricey, specially for a hole in the wall.

Coming here brought back so many fun memories from years ago! It still has the same amount of space but it's decorated differently. We didn't make it upstairs but next time I will check it out! My friend and I arrived on the early side so we got to watch who came in. Drinks ranged from $14 for rail liquor ones to $18 for Jameson & ginger ale to higher for others (I think it's like most places where the cost of drinks has gone up after the COVID surge.) The bartender was helpful in explaining the pricing for drinks. The DJ was on point with the music; at one point he played Talib Kweli which is rare to hear these days! Patrons can get a framed photo of themselves and/or their crew for $20. The photos of my friend and I were nice, it just wasn't in my budget for the night's activities. Overall, it was fun and I'm looking forward to going back soon!

Went on Wednesday Night - R&B Night, DJ was Dope. Crowd was light and don't pick up by 11:30pm when I left. 90% Dudes and no females that weren't coupled up. Dope Vibe probably better on a different night. Bartenders were solid, definitely don't cheat you on the drinks, even if you ask for a chaser it's felt like straight liquor.

Been here a few times, and it's a decent bar. Don't go here alone and don't bring your car. Take an UBER or metro. Pre drink b4 coming here. Sometimes, they'll have specials with rails, though they try to water it down. However, the staff are nice. As far as the club, its ok. Depends on the venue. Music is always good , no complaints.

Myself and a group of ladies attempted to check this place out since we've never been here. We were first told free entry by one guard and then another security guard abruptly interrupted him to say that it's actually $10 for entry because of a bar crawl that we did not want to participate in. We only wanted to check out the bar and order a drink but being told different prices at the door put a bad taste in our mouth. So we declined and while walking away the second guard said (under his breathe) that we can go to Subway for free. Need better and honest security. Don't know what the inside look like.

Super cool DC mainstay. I dig the remodeled Black Owned lounge in the heart of the infamous U-Street corrider. The black glass ceilings make me feel like I'm hanging out in an underground obisidian den. Great HH prices on hookah and drinks, & tables, super sexy, super friendly bartenders. I dig this place because they always have good music. Live DJs spinning mostly trap, hip hop, reggae, afrohouse, amapiano, & and other dope music. Pure has a poetry night, a rap battle night, & a reggae+Afrobeats night. The Underground Get Down.

This shit was fucking ass, they had a start time of 9:00pm and didn't start until 11:00 on a Tuesday night because they didn't have mics working. Never coming back
