Came here with my friends for Valentine’s Day and they had a lunch buffet with a great variety of options. My friend is vegetarian and there were a lot of options for him as well. The dessert was amazing and the staff was attentive and friendly. This Indian restaurant is a great choice in the Woodley Park area.

As someone who's grown up in India, Rajaji brings back memories of how restaurants were like in Delhi or even in the hill stations in India. An unassuming old world charm, warm service like none other and delicious homely comforting food - couldn't ask for more. Mr.Sharma greeted us with the biggest smile and his courteous, attentive service made our meal so special. We ordered veg momo, saag paneer, plain naan and tandoori roti. The momo - BEST in all of DC, just like traditional Nepali momos back in Delhi. The momo chutney deserves a separate mention - oh sooo good, just how a Nepali chutney is meant to be. The saag paneer felt so healthy, didn't have heavy cream or any additives that make it heavy or tough to digest. And the breads were crispy (just like how we requested), flaky and perfect accompaniment to the saag paneer.

Missed taking pictures as we were so excited by how good the food looked and dove right in. Cannot wait to be back and try other things!

Great albeit long menu but that is typical (in my experience) at Indian restaurants. Food was excellent quantity was very large. Service was a bit spotty as it was busy. We waited over 20 minutes for a green tea! That aside, like I said the food was great. Worth a second visit.

Just stopped by here in the middle of the snow day. The buffet is delicious and hot, and they have shrimp and lamb on the buffet. For the price, it's a steal.

The owner is really nice and the facilities are clean. I would definitely go again when I'm in the area.

The bottomless brunch on weekends is an insane deal for such good food, especially the desserts! (Malai kulfi + gulab jamun)

My first time trying Indian cuisine. What a great experience. The lunch buffet offered a variety of items giving me a chance to experience a range of food. The server were very tentative also.

The best Indian food and the most attentive service! It's my favorite Indian restaurant in D.C. And it's quiet -- a perfect, relaxing, place to talk, listen and have delicious food!

Rajaji’s brunch buffet is the best deal in town! The food is delicious, service is very attentive and you can’t beat the price. I love all of the different curries and the warm naan that is constantly being refilled 😀 I appreciate how the owner comes over to let us know when there’s new or fresh food ready! Top notch food and service!

Have been loyal customers for nearly 20 years of this Woodley Park “anchor” establishment. Warm, attentive service and delicious dishes. One of few places in DC where one can have a conversation and hear my fellow guest! Plus, they have a very cool chandelier! Highly recommend.
