I’ve been here many times over the years while at the Symposium. The service was inadequate, the restaurant was freezing cold on a cold night and the food was below average. The samosa was overly doughy but had good flavor, the rice was cool, the yellow dal was flavorless and the okra was slimy. None of the food was served hot. I was never checked on, nor was anyone around me and it was a quiet evening at 7pm. I even witnessed multiple confusions and mistakes with the two tables around me. Bummer bc I used to like it there.

Unfortunately, this was a very poor experience. We ordered Chicken Korma and received a dish with chicken and lamb. We were also told at the last minute (after waiting 30 minutes) that a dish we ordered was not available . The dish that we did receive was bland and underwhelming. The service was exceptionally slow and the attitudes were negative. Finally, my card was charged $15.00 more than my actual check and I had to wait for an extended amount of time for the correction. It seems apparent that they are unprepared to handle busy times. It may be fine at other times, but this experience was quite disappointing.

Excellent service from Gibron and Bashir-- welcoming and friendly. Fabulous food--absolutely delicious! Would highly recommend. Ordered extra Naan to get every last bit of sauce. And affordable too.

The first time my husband and I went there, we were newlyweds. After 20+ years, we went back with the kids. It was nice to be back and enjoy again the great food and the nice treatment.

We just ordered Rajaji via DoorDash. We went for things we hadn't tried before anywhere: Gosht Biryani (lamp and rice), Palak Paneer, Murgh Tikka (chicken grilled), and Garlic Naan (well, we had tried this before). Everything was fantastic: the biryani was flavorful but not too hot, palak paneer smooth and savory, perfect garlic naan, and the murgh tikka delicious. Honestly, we had to force ourselves to NOT eat the whole order (which was probably 25% more food than we needed). Can't wait to order here again.

During my trip from NYC to Washington DC, I stumbled upon a fantastic Indian restaurant. I ordered the Gosht Biryani and Lassi, and both were delicious. The prices were reasonable, and the service was quick and friendly. The food was served hot and fresh, making mine meal even more enjoyable. If you're in DC and craving Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit.

We used this restaurant for a school reunion. We had a large group (about 90) and fit comfortably in the restaurant. The food was great and the service excellent. They were a pleasure to work with and were very flexible to our needs. It was also very convenient that the restaurant is located just across the street from the Woodley Park Metro stop. I highly recommend Rajaji Curry house!

Our go-to neighborhood spot for a relaxed dinner. The owner always makes a point to stop by our table to say hi and checks in through the meal. Personal favorites include the Jhinga Shahi and the Baingan Bhartha with a cold Taj Mahal beer.

The Chicken Tandoori I was got looked and tasted like it survived a bonfire. It was singularly the worst Indian food I have ever been served. The atmosphere is just average. The servers were friendly but the billing process was hasty, resulting in overpayment due to an uneven split that charged me for items I didn't consume. After the terrible food, that just added insult to injury.

An okay buffet, where lunch is served in style, yet the Indian fare might not make you smile. Below average dishes, lacking that zest, in Adams Morgan, you'd find much better, no jest. And oddly enough, a sight quite dire, dead flies abound, situation most mire. A curious addition to dining decor, not what one seeks, but what's in store. So venture with caution, or better yet, roam, to Adams Morgan, for flavors like home.
