This Cathedral Heights Japanese restaurant will not disappoint. They have an extensive, diverse menu, and all of it is scrumptious. We started with the butterfly shrimp appetizer. The delicate, lightly fried juicy shrimp had a savory sauce which packed a zesty punch. For my main, I had the grilled ribeye steak. The restaurant wasn’t busy, and yet the service was minimal—the suggested drink was like non-sweet wine, an unremarkable liquid that neither complemented the meal nor stood on its own merit. Unfortunately, this underwhelming beverage set the tone for the entire experience.
To put it bluntly: this restaurant is a masterclass in mediocrity. Our server tried, but only came across as incredibly unconcerned with our wellbeing.

Delicious food, kind staff, and a great atmosphere. Literally everything - the dumplings, the omelette, the pumpkin soup, the toast, the salad - was superlative. Highly recommended to folks visiting the National Cathedral!
